Another alias of Pete Heller and editor of Faith Magazine Terry Farley, Roach Motel’s long-standing roots in the 90s nightclub scene is evident in the sheer quality of their timeless productions, defining the sound of British house for many years to come. ‘Movin’ On’, originally released on London-based label Junior Boy’s Own 30 years ago, is still an underground favourite today. Now, house aficionado and Moxy Musik founder Darius Syrossian brings his club-ready approach to the 90s staple, removing excess sound in favour of a deep, chugging remix drenched in influences of the original’s era. Similarly, his 5am Mix takes us well into the early hours with even more stripped back vocal manipulation. The release also features a remix from Austria’s Sugarstarr, who takes the unmistakeably 90s hook and loops it to give a modern yet classic house feel.

Faith present a three-track celebration of a classic release from American house music maestro Cevin Fisher. With roots in NYC's expansive house music scene, including mentorships from legends Tony Humphries and Larry Levan, Cevin Fisher has since established himself as a one of the world's most respected electronic producers. His 2000 release, 'Love You Some More', dominated the scene at the turn of the century, capturing the sound of the underground as audiences gravitated towards bassy, techno-inspired house music. Now, 23 years later, Fisher's driving remix of his own classic is set to prolong its legacy; the chart-topping record producer deepens the record with chunky swells and a modern, earth-shaking bass. Joining him on the package is the humble Defected House Master Harry Romero, with a remix that packs a major punch as we have come to expect from the New Jersey legend

Ahead of our appearance on the 8th October at Defected Malta where we host a house foundations (86-96) stage, Stuart Patterson has compiled a mix of some Faith favourites from the period.  100% vinyl it takes in early vocals from Intense, Tammy Banks and Velma Wright, deepness from Precious and Swing 52.  Darker and tribal sounds from Funky Green Dogs and Kiwi Dreams, a touch of wild pitch from DJ Pierre in his Phuture Scope guise and a drop of acid from The Endless Poker.
