From time to time he found himself lost within his own train of thought. They weren't fantasies or dreams but inner visions, predictions of the future in which the world around him was very different.

For a start, it was all green. Everything, everywhere was radiant and glowing in the warmth of the sunlight and wild plants, leaves and trees were all around.

Then there were the people dancing, they moved freely beneath the warm glow and merged with the shadows which separated their celestial bodies. He wished it might never end but soon enough these visions would end, only to be replaced with the stark grey of reality.

Yore Records are set to release an inspired EP by Dj Compufunk. This one is all about showcasing house music at its very best. Tracks crafted with precision and uplifting, euphoric melodies designed to produce serotonin.

Here is Mr. Fiel's first full EP on his own new label called Faith In Truth. All tracks were produced in the winter and spring of 2021. Since 2012 his music has been released with minor major interruptions from labels like Freakyhouse or Blind Jacks Journey. Now he wants to dedicate more time to producing music, this is the reason why he has just created this label as well. Hopefully in 2022 the audience will be able to see more Mr. Fiel publications in digital or even vinyl format. Tamas' music is sophisticated, composed of many small sounds, and although he selects almost all kinds of styles as a record collector, in his music production he wants to focus on the deeper world of sound, with dreamy, peaceful, storytelling pieces. Earth Boys are back with their third Shall Not Fade release, once again blessing us with a warm, tonal, percussive house cut straight out of their hometown of Brooklyn. 

Earth Boys form part of a rich lineage of New York house duos. Two that specifically warrant comparison are Masters At Work with their latin jazz-inspired house and more recently, AceMoMa with their tuneful, lysergic offerings. ‘Froggy’s World’ comes with an assortment of different flavours, beginning with swung deep house grooves on the A-side and mutating into 808 State-esque tribal house with dynamic percussion. Finally, ‘Bonita’ is a sultry 100BPM number that cruises along a dembow rhythm.

With a busy year coming to an end, Tartelet Records is taking a step back to pause and reflect. Releasing November 30th, “Medusozoa Vol II is a compilation of 20 introspective, ambient and downtempo tracks from across the planet – all carefully selected for their healing qualities,” explains Tartelet label head, Emil Margetli Nyholm.

Alongside previously unreleased material by Space Ghost, Zopelar, Glenn Astro, Max Graef and Uffe, the album also features recent signings the likes of ABUNAI, Athletic Whippet, Brynjolfur, Doc Sleep and Sans Merit (a new project by Francis Inferno Orchestra), plus a few classics from the back catalogue courtesy of Henry Wu & Tito Wun, among others.

Whether taking listeners back to a time in the past, to a daydream in the future, or fully immersing them into the present, all tracks were selected for their restorative and relaxing qualities, giving listeners a reason to find comfort in today’s climate of uncertainty.

The way too late Debut album of the English artist Dj Caant (FKA Dj C**t). This album has been on the shelve for 5 years now. This guy contacted me few years back with these carefully crafted tracks. I tried to help him get the tracks released but labels always backed out because of his name. He didn't want to change it, and would not release them under a different moniker, so nothing happened.

I still get requests regularly about the Dj Caant tracks that I played in my Dj mixes some years back. So I contacted him and we decided to just release them on Bandcamp + other tracks that have never seen the light of day. The tracks are extremely simple, raw and fully reflect the way this guy is.

Bari house don Rhythm Of Paradise has been upholding the Italo house tradition over a run of superlative releases for the likes of Cosmic Rhythm, Chiwax and Kalahari Oyster Cult, and now he returns to Smallville for more of that quintessential deep-diving gear. His sound is right at home on Hamburg's finest house label, with 'In My Face' revelling in subdued, blue-hued pad tones while 'Love Me Tonite' rides mellow chords on delightfully dusty beats. Nu Cleo is on hand with a sprightly remix of 'Deepside' before the record closes out with the celestial acid fantasy of 'Solaris'.
