The inaugural release from the new Love International X Test Pressing imprint comes from Fantastic Man, the Berlin based Australian whose music has been played by everyone from Aphex Twin to Bicep to Gerd Janson and many more.
  
Love International make good times happen in far flung places, whilst Test Pressing make good times happen physically and in the digital sphere, a meeting of like minds and shared tastes, all bases covered here.  Together this collaboration has been releasing compilation album from the likes of Gatto Fritto, Beautiful Swimmers and Shanti Celeste, and this new label project unites recording artists and designers in a meeting of music and art.

On the ‘Cloud Management’ release, Fantastic Man teams up with Alexander Papoli-Barawati, a German/Filipino/Iranian graphic designer and art director living in Berlin.  The striking and playful graphic design is in tandem with the music, which runs from the beautiful piano–led Balearic sounds of ‘Cloud Manager’ to the floating breaks in ‘Lounge Wizard’, the warped chug tempo in ‘Psychic Monthly’ and the beautiful acid bubbles of release finale, ‘Time Apprentice’.

The Swiss-based Chateau Chépère crew brings a diverse EP from Ambient House maestra Rai Scott for their first installment. The five-tracker 'Anahata Nada' EP sees Edinburgh-based artist explore warm and lush House vibes centered around a party environment. From the gorgeous Ambient title track 'Anahata Nada' that can do magic in the chill-out rooms to more dance floor oriented 'Logical Positivism,' 'Track 4 Inspired' and 'Open Your Eyes,' the latter is signed under Rai's Serendipity alias. 
Our premiere for today, 'Track 4 Inspired', is a melancholic Hazy House journey. Driven by the classic Deep House groove, the track shows its beauty in lush pads exhaling in long, overlapping layers. Melancholic keys and atmospheric textures give the track a special moody touch, ideal for upcoming rooftop parties here in Brooklyn. 

'Anahata Nada' EP was released on March 7th via a new Lausanne-based vinyl-only imprint, Chateau Chépère.

Brad P. - Late Night Journeys  (MOTO 18)

For their second installment, the Chateau Chepere crew brings on board legendary producer Stephan Laubner under his STL moniker, with four time warping pieces of music. With his distinctive and intricate sonic palette, Laubner extracts from his hardware different musical colors and shapes to produce singular atmospheres. Opening up the EP is Fly Fly, an epic 11 min minimal house trip full of tension and excitement, followed by Eargrind, an eerie, laid back Detroit leaning ballad. On the flip is Light Up, a spaced out, playful and bittersweet number that will revitalize any hazy after-hours dancefloor. Closing up the EP is Unlike Dislike, a quirky, jacking and mischievous techno workout for the packed club. This diverse ep will pull the listeners and dancers into Laubner's multifaceted, low key but captivating universe.

The Lagaffe boys have a special one for you. Lagaffe 10 marks the 10th EP in our vinyl series and serves as a perfect way to end our 10th year in existence. To mark this occasion we are releasing a 4 tracker with our founders and label regulars.

The EP opens up with Cohen Social Club by Flexi Leifs aka Felix Leifur. Our man Felix lost his drum machines last spring but luckily he found a guitar and some drums. The track starts off with suspicious sounding guitar notes that somehow up as pure beauty, giving hope in the darkest of places. Frodo with the ring stuff, if you know what I mean. Playful reverbs and echos give the tune the classic Felix Leifur feel to it!

Moff & Tarkin has the next track "Pure Fury", some breakbeats and cheesy disco vocals, why change a winning recipe?

Next up is "We are not alone " by label boss Jonbjörn. I think this is what Elton John meant when he said "thank god for those electro bangers!" With "Að handan" Viktor Birgiss comes back to the label in style. Our mastering engineer described it as having the loudest kickdrum in history, imagine that! Lo fi dub sounding drums interlaced with atmospheric chords, made for those late night intimate moments on the dancefloor, again Frodo with the ring stuff, if you know what I mean.

We're Not Alone [10 Years of Lagaffe Tales]

In this episode I was able to welcome the guys behind a wicked little deep house label called Ordinaire Records, based out of Strasbourg in France. Rony, Alex and Thomas have been putting on parties in their area and have their third vinyl release baking in the oven right now. I’ve played both their previous releases on my past shows so it’s been a pleasure to have them on to lay down 90 mins of their signature sound. Listening back to their mix brought out a lot of nostalgia for me as they touch on some of the sounds I was really into (and still am!) during my formative years in the early 2000s, with records from Inland Knights, JT Donaldson, EBE and more. You always can guarantee with a release from Dubbyman that not only will you get music with gorgeous depth and warmth, but also an EP that is versatile and generous as he often includes other musicians and producers in his projects. The Alpha Transmissions EP a long-awaited project is no exception with Dubbyman bringing his deep house and laid-back breakbeat style to Inner Shift Music. To our delight it also features label owners Brad P and Rai Scott. We last saw Dubbyman (along with Above Smoke) on Inner Shift on remix duties for the .Mahal. Space Space release where Inner Shift and Deep Explorer teamed up for 'the joint venture'. This versatile EP with its mix of deep house and downtempo breakbeat tracks includes contributions from talented musicians, collaboration, and remixes. 

As a bonus there are also two additional remixes of the A2 track 'In the Space' from label owners Brad P and Rai Scott respectively that are available as digital bonus tracks. If you buy the EP from the label’s website or Bandcamp page, the full digital EP with the two extra tracks is included.

Bari house don Rhythm Of Paradise has been upholding the Italo house tradition over a run of superlative releases for the likes of Cosmic Rhythm, Chiwax and Kalahari Oyster Cult, and now he returns to Smallville for more of that quintessential deep-diving gear. His sound is right at home on Hamburg's finest house label, with 'In My Face' revelling in subdued, blue-hued pad tones while 'Love Me Tonite' rides mellow chords on delightfully dusty beats. Nu Cleo is on hand with a sprightly remix of 'Deepside' before the record closes out with the celestial acid fantasy of 'Solaris'.

Faith In Truth label is releasing oneeyedman's 5-track super EP called Dragon fruit dealer, and for the first 30 days you can download the tracks on a name your price basis. The first track is called Mind body and soul and will only be available on Bandcamp. It's a great start to the EP including a famous acapella with a shimmering synth melody and acid swims. Pomelo is a powerful club tune with a strong bassline and catchy chorus. The 3rd track could be a soundtrack, Gardener from Kyoto has a lot of drum themes mixed with massive bass, topped off with piano arp and shakuhachi flute - a very special atmosphere to the whole music. Olive from Sicily is a pleasant deep house piece with floating pads, bringing sunshine to your heart. Last but not least, the last track called Disencumber could be a Metro Area composition, dreamy pads and melodies with a nice disco touch. The ep will be available from major online music stores and streaming sites in November 2023.
