Different Kind of Holy is an enticing ballad for anyone discovering or embracing
their sexuality. The lyrics will take the audience on a journey of self exploration
both physically and spiritually while playing with duality of what can be
considered “Holy". With a haunting track and sultry vocals, listeners are invited
to sink into their own skin and even if just for a moment, get lost in the
seduction created by sound and imagination.

This upcoming release strays from what Faithroze is usually known for and is
coming from her personal body of work as not only a writer but also the producer.
As the first of three singles to be released in coming months, this track serves as
her own coming out of her shell. Her goal is to connect with listeners who truly
get lost in the music they listen to and use it as a way to escape, process and
fully live through emotions. As a young adult she has refined not only her sound
but her beliefs and mindset as well. Different kind of holy was written while
coming to terms with who she is as a sexual being despite the way she was
brought up to exist in the world. She knows she doesn’t stand alone in battling
the confines and confusion of religion and sexuality and this track truly
showcases her journey in finding peace in the delicate balance of who she has
become in this world on her own. Different kind of Holy is at it’s heart an
acknowledgment of the sensuality that lives deep inside of her that she no longer
wishes to deny.

This song is a masterpiece of love. While I often work with other producers, this track was created after many hours of solo production as an ode to my partner. Falling in love can feel like walking into the ocean and diving into the unknown and that’s the beautiful and powerful vibe I aimed to create. Faithroze is an EDM/Pop artist based in San Diego, CA. From a religious upbringing to her spiritual reawakening, she has written with a cryptic yet ethereal blend since age 13. She commits to write from her life experience, striving to create music that haunts every part of your soul. 

With a background of classical training and having studied Music Production and Engineering at Berklee College of Music, Faithroze has devoted her time to self producing for years. With experience fronting a rock band and continuously performing throughout throughout her childhood, she has continued to enmesh her past with an ever evolving love of all genres. With what most would call an easy listening voice she can usually be found dancing over any track she’s on. She presents herself as the twisted Disney princess they forgot to write about.
