On October 28th, Bart&Baker (www.bartandbaker.com) will release their first ever REMIX collection, simply titled "Bart&Baker REMIXED" on Entouka Productions (www.entoukaprod.com)
Fuelled with 22 killer versions taken from their 10 first EPs, it contains brand new remixes from the likes of KeX, DJ Mibor and Skeewiff, as well as the brand new track "BABY DON'T YOU CRY", a glorious cover of a Ray Charles’ “Swinganova” classic from the sixties.
When listening to the 22 remixes, one can understand why Bart&Baker have always demonstrated a real passion for collaborations and remix re-inventions.
From the Moroder-esque version of Big Band through the super sharp rework of 16 tons by KeX, it’s a wild ride through the beat and the swing.

About Bart&Baker 
Bart and Baker (www.bartandbaker.com) are two Parisian DJ/Producers, dressed in tuxedos and top hats with house (for Bart) & jazz (for Baker) backgrounds. There are many DJ’s playing electronic music but what makes Bart&Baker so unique is that they were the first back in 2005 to be able to mix old vintage samples with new, remix and revive old 1920’s music, scratching 1940’s and 50’s tracks and generally making new club music from a vintage source. 
As Bart&Baker says, “we pride ourselves on reinvention, using elements that already exist like vintage music, performance styles and costume so we were able to please or uncover the swing music shades of rhythms to both vintage fans and modern kids”.
Bart&Baker have played Festivals (Calvi On The Rocks, Bestival, LoveBox &Tomorrowland) and various clubs throughout Europe. They also have their own monthly residency at the world-famed Parisian club La Machine du MOULIN ROUGE.
They have so far released 6 full lengths CD through Wagram Music, including the 3rd, 4th and 5th volume of the Iconic series Electro Swing.
Through their home label Entouka Productions, they have also released on digital 8 EPs through 2012. Many of their title have charted in the Beatport Top 30 as well as in Juno (Top 20 recommendation of 2012). Their first “song collection” will be released in March 2013.
They have also provided official remixes to the likes of Dimitri From Paris, “lounge kings” Gabin and “electro swing stars” Caravan Palace.
In March 2013 was released their first collection of tunes “Introducing, Bart&Baker” on vinyl & digital. 
In September 2013, Yellow Productions, the label of BOB SINCLAR released their first Club effort in the AFRICANISM series, “Satchmo’s tears”.
November will see the release of their first REMIX collection, the 6th volume of their Electro Swing series and their new track Windows of the World selected by Thievery Corporation for the Saint-Germain-Des-Pres volume XV and remixed by the champion of the Balearic sound, CHRIS COCO.

Getting the chance to record in the studio with soul legend Sir Joe Quarterman was one of the highlights of the year for Fort Knox Five, and the track Don't Go became an instant funk classic. As soon as the single was released, we heard from some of our close friends who were eager to rework the track and we are proud to present these two fine remixes from K+Lab and Trotter. 

First up is New Zealand's own K+Lab, who brings live synths and keys to the forefront on his glitched out funky bass remix. The original vocals and horns are layered on top of his beefed up beats and heavy bass stabs. This remix takes the soul of the original and injects it with a heavy dose of modern glitched out funk transforming it into a dancefloor scorcher. 

Not to be outdone is Trotter, our man in Sao Paulo, who strips out the original's retro funk feel replacing it with a swinging future funk vibe. Bouncing and bubbling synth lines run throughout the remix, dominating the track to create a modern P-Funk groove. Trotter's remix shows his versatile production skills by tweaking the old school flavor of the original track and bringing it into the new millennium. 

Fort Knox Recordings is stoked to start the new year with a bang, enlisting two fantastic artists who delivered their debut Fort Knox Five remixes on this single. These remixes take the track in two distinct directions; glitch-hop and future funk, however they both follow Sir Joe's advice, “Step back three times, aww turn it around!” Instrumental version of both tracks are also available, making this a must have for funk DJs across the globe.

Mash & Munkee are Kolja Starkowski (aka Deli-Kutt) and David Hanke (aka Unifairfly/Renegades of Jazz) and are based in Wuppertal and near Hamburg, Germany. Kolja was DJing and David was running a radio show before they met online at the record database site Discogs and, after discovering a common taste in music, teamed up to form Mash & Munkee. The rest, as they say, is history!

After a series of well-received singles on labels such as Backslide, Jack To Phono, Funk Weapon and of course Hero Records they spent time compiling and remastering the best of these releases and writing new tracks to compliment them and ended up with this amazing debut album. Taking musical influences from all over the world this album contains the straight up funk of the single “Superbad” and the scratch-filled b-boy grooves of “Here We Come!” together with afrobeat and latin influenced groovers such as “Kibo” and “Venga Veras”. From downtempo hip hop head-nodders like “Mexican B-Boy” to the faster tempos of the dancefloor-filling nu-funk of “Make A Difference” this album encompasses all that we at Hero Records love about music. Available as a very limited CD with collectable 6-panel digifile sleeve and digital download this album is destined to be a smash hit with lovers of everything funky.

Fajita Funk are a group of  South West DJs, bringing uptempo party cuts breaks, beats, reggae, hip hop, latin and all inbetween to many clubs and bars across the South of England, and beyond (Oxford, Exeter, Woolacombe, Bristol, Bath, London). They currently hold residencies in Oxford, (The Library), and in Reading (Milk).

Their mixes have been pleasuring the ears of the internet community for years, with the boys appearing as guests across various internet radio shows.

Their production work is still in its relative infancy, but already they have had one release on Tru-Funk Records, 'Edwin's Phat Man!' The work has also been getting support from DJs such as Hong Kong Ping Pong, Cut La Vis, Ewan Hoozami, Dropsteady Freddy etc etc. Other tracks have been recognised through the renowned Spinforth Scour. As DJ support for the likes of Boca 45, Dan Greenpeace, Breakin Bread, Itchy & Scratchy, and Smoove amongst others, they are a sure fire winner!
