I listened to this when it first came out and have been going crazy trying to remember who made the mix.  Literally was scrolling https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_electro_house_artists and realized it was FAKE BLOOD.  God damn I'm stoked to have this back in my life!

2025, never stopped listening since release. Absolutely timeless.

In Hour 2 it's Boca 45, who has appeared many times on Solid Steel over it's 25 years and returns with another mix of 45 x 45's. Solid Steel Radio Show 23/8/2013 Part 3 + 4 - Boca 45

Solid Steel (6th December) It's a specially extended session this week as we prepare for the Solid Steel 25th Anniversary night in London tonight with two of the DJ's that are playing. 
DK steps up with the first part of his own retrospective on his time at Solid Steel. Having started on the show in 1997 and over 400 mixes later, here is just a few personal favourites starting in '97 with Data and the Underdog remix, aka Trevor Jackson who is another artist playing tonight. Then it's early 90's hip hop from Jeru, OC, Pharcyde and Crooklyn Dodgers, before Steve Reich and a nod to The Orb, (also playing tonight) followed by two epic vocal outings from Andreya Triana and Lamb. It's a few Jazz, Latin and African selections including the Fela cover by Johnny Rodrigues, which got DK his first offer to do a mix by Coldcut. After that we get through more gems from Caribou, Zomby, Bobby Konders, Fink, Radiohead and 3 appearances from Four Tet, our special guest tonight, before closing on the obscure Dr Philter Banx from 1975. The second half of this mix will be next week.........

I've done 7 x 1 hour mixes, solely made up of old tunes sampled in classic Hip Hop tracks - but cut up on two copies / decks to re-create the loops / chops people used.
I didn't use any compilations, reissues, bootlegs, or downloads. All originals. I've always been a digging fiend on the side!
But - to save the original pressings (and also cos it's hard enough to get one copy of some of these, let alone two!) - I loaded them into Serato vinyl, so I could scratch away to my heart's content, with ruining anything!
So here's VOL.1.

We are very happy to kick off into 2019 with the start of a new podcast series, in order to present to you some of the brilliant artists that made an impact on the things we do with MACH MAL LANGSAM and the way how we do them.

It is a special blessing for us to be able to announce @BirdZzie as our very first contributor! It also makes us feel a bit uncomfortable though, for it reminds us of the fact, that we have been meaning to invite BirdZzie to one of our events ever since we started out with MML almost three years ago! But the opportunity just didn't present itself, yet... We will just think of this collaboration as a good omen for 2019!

To the global ketapop/slow house/ancestro-futurismo scene, BirdZzie's role is of no little significance, not only as DJ and producer, but also as a fertilizer for the whole movement to grow. He has helped the scene gain a lot of impetus, most notably in his role as one of the foundation members of the already legendary São Paulo-based label TROPICAL TWISTA.
