Gearing up for our first release of 2022 "The Noam Chomsky Music Project" for our dear friend Ian Urbina from The New York Times. Falasteen is our attempt to voice Chomsky's ideology for the people of Palestine.

This project was simply a real creative opportunity in melding two things that are so different from each other: dry and intellectually heavy reflections and evocative music on the other hand.

She then complains to the lover, asking him how she will carry more water now that her gharaa of water is broken?

The second portion of the song then is broken down into an excerpt from the famous Thumri by Ustad Baday Ghulam Ali Khan Bajo Band Khul Khul Jaye
