The very first album by Fake the Band was called "Self-titled debut album" and was self-recorded and released in 2004. It contained 18 songs - basically all the songs the band had written and performed in the three years since forming. 

This selection showcases some tracks that have stood the test of time (which, unfortunately, cannot be said of the album as a whole).  Anyone interested in how Fake the Band sounded during a time where they were still trying to figure it all out should risk an ear. Or two.

During their lifetime, Fake the Band recorded three records, of which the third one was never released in a regular way. It's called "Apocalypse Jacket" and gets its debut here on Soundcloud.
