Symmetry are proud to present the 'In Your Soul' EP from hot new Bristol duo – Ill Truth. Their production style and engineering techniques were right up our street at Symmetry, so we're pleased to be able to showcase an EP of their skills. On the title track Ill Truth teamed up with Satl and vocalist Charli Brix to create a soulful and deep vocal roller. The other 3 tracks showcase Ill Truth's diverse yet consistent production style with 'Tear Up', a dubby, weighty half step head nodder. 'Discover' and 'After Hours' show off their talent for creating subtle but powerful dance-floor ammo with a techy and grooving edge.

The Chikara Project, the sexiest label you’ve never heard of, is back for it’s second release. After casually strolling in with the debut CKRA001, which picked up huge support across the scene and was universally praised by anyone with a working set of ears, the Chikara crew kicked back and fired out their second effort, the “Viewpoint” EP. 

Following in it’s predecessors path, the second release has been lovingly curated by Mystic State, Elias and Third Degree, this time joined by squad members Ewol, Lucy Kitchen and Mitekiss. With an aim to lazer-beam the purest of vibes into the earholes of the unsuspecting audience, The Chikara Project continues to grow and flourish into a force to be reckoned with. From the opening silky smooth sounds of “Viewpoint”, to the aggressive tech-funk of Elias’s “Kaizen”, through to Mitekiss’s sublime, rolling remix of “Sister”, the second release is looking just as strong as the first. In the midst of his recently accrued status as a ‘Masterchef’ finalist, long-standing Dispatch stalwart Survival returns to the label with a highly anticipated new solo album, ‘Take It Back’.

Inspired by working with Script on a Metalheadz album as ‘SCAR’ last summer, Survival went straight back into the studio, with a renewed hunger to focus on his own solo material.

‘Take It Back’ represents the first Survival album since his 2009 debut on Exit Records, re-engaging with his core sound and this sampler demonstrates both sides of his sound today.

Thirteen tracks make up the astutely arranged album, including a collaboration with label boss and close friend Ant TC1, plus vocal features from Codebreaker, Eleanor Higgins and two tunes with Naomi Pryor (having worked extensively as part of the SCAR / Orkyd project).

With a fresh outlook on his artform and exciting plans to link his music and his cooking, Survival takes things back to the source, rekindling with his most celebrated DnB moniker.

The forthcoming LP from The Clamps and Kosen Productions isn’t just a collection of records which the French artist has spent months perfecting. It’s also a colossal look into the soundscape which such a high-calibre artist has at their disposal. Stretching across fifteen tracks, between drum & bass and garage, The Clamps focuses around the insanity that is stretching itself across the contemporary world and how he’s helped to define this sonically through each one of his records. There’s also a host of sci-fi inspired cuts which add to the LP’s explosive themes. From the already revealed record ‘LHS 1140b’, with a name that’ll resonate for any space fans, right through to the hard-hitting throws of ‘End of an Era’, there’s a taste to suit every palette throughout every expertly composed record.

After already setting an enviable standard with the undeniably heavyweight standards on tracks like ‘Looking for Trouble’ alongside the notorious Nuklear MC, standalone offerings such as ‘Mankind’ and ‘30a #3a-23 Happiness’ peddle an unforgettable level of engineering whilst also pushing through a cinematic backdrop. Then a range of collaborations follow in their wake, including ‘Astronauts’ alongside Impak, as well as Snotrocket for ‘Friends in the Hood’. Merikan also joins the fray with ‘Fast Way’.

The pace is continued to be set with ‘Cattle Mutilation’, whilst Mizo and The Clamps join forces for the meticulously sequenced drums of ‘Time Pressure’. ‘Medina’ pulls you through its half-time madness whilst adding to the LP’s strident versatility, which is followed in quick succession by ‘Soul of the Abyss’ with its throbbing LFOs. The Clamps and NickBee then merge their collective talents for ‘Addicted’, with its more old-school underpinnings. ‘The First and the Last’ platforms the creeping atmospherics which characterises many pieces of The Clamps’ sonic artillery, whilst ‘End of an Era’ draws the album to a close on a cataclysmic breakdown which takes you deep into the belly of the beast. ‘End of an Era’ alludes to The Clamps’ hardcore roots, whilst paying homage to the new foundations he’s laid down through his new music and Kosen Productions.
