For our third release, we are really honoured to bring back to the game the mysterious legend of Random Factor aka Carl Finlow.

Emerging from the shadows, Carl comes back with four beastly, hard hitting slabs - an EP produced in the 2000s that never saw the light before. Futuristic pads, combined with rolling basslines and otherworldy effects interlace to make the perfect soundtrack for the techno-dystopia.

On the famous dub platform "Berg Audio", you can find an open-access version of a prototype of the variable frequency clock. A levitating delay and a set of percussion jumpers strengthen the soulful house construction by combining a soft kick, well-aimed claps, and a tube bass line in its structure. This well-developed architecture of operational processes fills the space with volumetric waves and establishes musical etiquette.

After attending their first party together 14 years ago founders and longtime Picnic affiliates Herra and Jimmy Schulte were completely caught by electronic music. They realised this was the industry they wanted to be involved with and started to make their first steps into this world. They have done pretty well so far as their current standing in the scene will attest and the result of this work is MME Recordings.

Now, awaiting their first foray into wax releases from MME, “Space Message” does exactly as intended as it communicates with a world beyond our own, with extraterrestrial motifs found throughout. These messages are sent from the dancefloor, as tight percussion, rolling grooves and tasteful basslines serve as contrast whilst melodic content takes us on a tour of the stars. 
By growing up together, living together and going to parties together, starting a label exploring a bit of a different side of our musical taste felt as a logical step to do within our development in the industry.
