Fear takes on many different forms and many different names, as well as being identified as various parts of speech. As a noun, it’s defined as ‘an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat.’  As a verb, it’s defined as ‘be afraid of (someone or something) as likely to be dangerous, painful, or threatening.‘ As far as the names it has been called, well that’s something more specific and intimate to the person and their relationship with it. Names like ‘fright, terror, alarm, trepidation, panic, unease, and worry’ come to mind all with the common mission to classify Fear as we believe it to be. Every range from having butterflies in your stomach to outright phobias that stop us dead in our tracks. But what if the majority of what we believe Fear to be is nothing more than a fallacy in itself? What if we make it out to be something more than it actually is and actually capable of? Well that’s what this episode is geared to address…the fallacy of fear and the shadow it hides within. Episode 002- on Understanding Fear

Just what is the ‘Fallacy of Fear?’ Good question. As we all know, Fear presents itself to different people in different ways, but a fallacy is universal. That is, a fallacy is something that is known to be associated as being ‘a mistaken belief or faulty reasoning, which is not only misleading, but unsound all together.’ We all face fear in different regards, that will never change, but that doesn’t mean we have to face it with the same debilitating effect that it once had. This podcast is a series of short episodes aimed to raise your awareness in regard to the fears you may face and empower you to make the necessary changes that will allow you to take the steps towards overcoming them. I hope that this podcast…this experience…serves as the lifeline when you find yourself sinking in quicksand, and a tool to not only let you know that you are NOT alone, but that you are more capable of overcoming than you may believe. Episode 001- What Is The Fallacy Of Fear

Having a proper mind-frame that is aligned with the goals that you wish to achieve is not only a necessary aspect in the quest to success, but also one that is critical. ‘Mind-frame’ is considered to be ‘a mental attitude or outlook.’ Notice that there is no mention to the alignment as being that of either a positive or negative nature. Mind-frame is simply impartial to the adjective placed before it, but that adjective is the key to determining the outcome of many battles we wage along our paths. A poisoned mind-frame will attract and produce just that…poison. While that which resides within the more divine spectrum of our thoughts yields the very essence of victory, and many times over, the embodiment of what champions are made of. Episode 003- On Proper Mindframe

Perspective can offer an entirely different, and often times, refreshing outlook on the current situation at hand. Often times, when we are pushed into a corner, we see it as just that…trapped in a corner. Many people view this as an indirect death sentence, but what if the perspective was changed a bit? What if the situation was seen through a different vantage point? After all, an ant sees the world differently than an eagle does, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that the situations they encounter are drastically different. They both create a dwelling, both search for food, and both efficiently capitalize on situations when presented. It’s the vantage point in regard to the beholder that creates the difference, and nothing more. Considering the situation we touched on before, instead of seeing it from the point of view of being trapped in a corner, perhaps instead focus on the corner. Finding yourself at a corner can also carry with it a positive reference as well. Think if you will as a corner being a place where two streets meet. Where one ends, the other begins, thus can be said of opportunities alike. This episode dives into that type of shift in perspective and how being able to do so effectively is the true determination between success and failure. There are those that we call 'friends,' others that we refer to as 'family,' and some that we simply label as 'acquaintances.' At face value, these tags simply help us determine the level of trust that we allow onto each individual. However, there is one alias ,if you will, that we designate for those that have been granted the deepest permission into our lives, and all of our deepest secrets as well. These are people that we have deemed worthy of being afforded the highest level of trust, otherwise known as members of our 'Inner Circle.' Unfortunately, these are also the people that can cause the most damage in your life and well-being if their motives do not align with yours, and sway more in the direction of malice over love. This episode delves into not only helping you identify and expose any would-be conspirators, but also to help you restructure you circle if needed. The Fallacy of Fear began with a simple spark that has now developed into something much more. A subtle light to guide one through the blinding darkness of fear’s tunnels, and into the liberating luminosity of hope, success, and happiness in the end.

This project aims to not only provide inspiration, but to also help you discover your true potential for greatness, and to conquer the fallacies often associated fear.

Fallacies that may inhibit, and prevent you from achieving the level of fulfillment that is truly desired in life.

In short, to help champion a cause truly worthy of you, challenge the fallacies that stand in your way, and to ultimately conquer your fear once and for all.
