Fallen - So Invisible ft. Ed Thomas

As a teenager standing in the DJ booth watching his cousin, Fabric room 1 Resident, James Lavelle rock a packed super-club with subs under the floor, Fallen aka Niall Lavelle fell in love with the UK’s uniquely rich dance music culture. At university in Leeds, a regular attender of legendary Subdub and DMZ at the West Indian Centre, he went on to found his band, festival favourites, Gentleman’s Dub Club, which cemented a 10 year quasi-residency at perhaps the most comprehensive festival of UK bass orientated music to ever have existed - Outlook Festival. 

Lavelle has for the last 10 years grounded himself in another musical melting pot as a youth worker in Hackney giving space and guidance to the young people shaping the genres of the future; the emergence of afro swing and Uk drill being contemporaneous with Lavelle’s full time work in the youth music space. Fallen’s musical output in the last decade saw collaborations with Ruby Wood of Submotion Orchestra and Ed Thomas, a prolific topline writer and Chase and Status feature artist. Looking forward, Fallen is combining his musical creativity with his youth work collaborating with the young artists whom he mentors and other talented youth workers in
