I'm unsure of the original composer, but I thought it might be the perfect way of kick-starting my page while waiting for my vocals to recover. Instrumental music is also perfect as a background for studying.

This is a song I wrote before leaving the States more than twelve years ago. I just decided to dust it off and slap some polish on it.

I was born and raised in the heroin-riddled city of New Bedford. Its former claim to fame was ties to the whaling industry. Now, the city lies as a forgotten relic. Too poor and pitiful to be properly revived, and yet somehow wealthy enough to stay afloat and off the public radar. 

But this is NOT meant to be a forum for politics. My songs are just pieces of my past that I've arranged into short stories for our generation of ADD-addled minds; tied to melodies for easy listening. And if you hate me for anything I've said, then perhaps you'll relate to me through my music and glimpse a fraction of who I am.
