After finding the ship and making the repairs you bang on it a few times until you hear it power on. The radio kicks in and one of your favorite songs starts to play as you fly into the black of space.

You punch the hyperdrive into gear and sit back as the stars stretch into infinity. It’s not peaceful for long though as something kicks you out of hyperspace. Whatever shot you before is in sight. Time for some pay back.

The enemy ship sits at a stand still directly in front of you when suddenly four more appear out of hyperspace. They begin to shoot but it seems like any shots that hit you were just luck. When there are two left they come up on either side of you. They’re close enough to see into the cockpit but there is a strange glow about them. You let them get closer when suddenly the pilot turns to face you with a skeletal face as a ghastly howl cuts through the comms. You dip in time to avoid getting hit and end the fight as swiftly as possible. You take a moment of respite to rest and think.

I always have trouble making battle music but I kinda liked this one.

You decide to board the remaining enemy ship. As you enter, your hairs stand on end and you feel yourself begin to shiver. The ship’s computers look like nothing you’ve seen before and it’s hull groans as you make your way into the cockpit. There’s a body on the seat but it doesn’t react to you. You walk up to the body and place a hand on its shoulder to turn it.

Missed a day so double feature! This ones a short suspenseful loop while exploring a creepy enemy ship.

“Auto-pilot engaged” you hear the computer say as soon as you touch the still body. Space around you stretches into infinity and suddenly you find yourself flying straight to a blue planet. The ship flies down through the sky to reveal a city surround by green filled mountains. The ship takes into the city and slowly flies through its tall glass buildings and small neighborhoods. The humanoids look happy as the ship makes a flyby of a festival in the city’s outskirts. There’s flash from the sky revealing a massive meteor entering the planet’s atmosphere. You see a few ships leave the planet before it’s torn to shreds. The blast envelopes the ship and your right back in the cockpit in the middle of space.

You go back to your ship curious of what you just experienced. You try searching for the planet you saw in the computers but are unsuccessful. Maybe someone back home knows. As soon as you start up your hyperdrive to head home the strange tendrils extruding from the enemy ship wrap around your ship. The hyperdrive coordinates on the computer go haywire as the stars and the ship slowly compress and then BOOM. You’re in hyperspace being pulled by the enemy ship. The wormhole slowly begins to turn red and you can see strikes of lightening in the cloudy-ness. Eventually you see only red and as suddenly you entered hyperspace you exit. The enemy ship’s tendrils attached to you rip and it hurls itself forward. Your ship sits still as you watch the enemy ship fly towards the red planet ahead.

You sit silently in your space feeling helpless. The computer is non responsive as your ship slowly drifts towards the planet. Though once your close enough all the computers power on and show foreign symbols. The ship flies itself into the red planet’s atmosphere and you see the devastated molten lands below. The ship lands you on a plateau facing a massive monolith. It begins to glow with power and you a voice speak, “Welcome, Redeemer.”

Whew! We did it! 21 days! It was fun and hard to keep up at times but I’m happy I got through them all. I made this as an ending cutscene type of song. Congrats to everyone!

Elemental Origins: Earth

Today’s element is fire. I imagined a tiny ember burst into a roaring fire, consuming everything before returning to its small form. 

I didn’t get the drums to sound exactly how I wanted reverb wise but it’s close enough haha.

Elemental Origins: Fire

The crew holds their breathe as the airship glides through the dark storm clouds. All they can do is hope their calculations were correct as the airship busts through the clouds into the war zone. All cannons fire at the enemy but the ship had sustained too much damage from the storm and it crashes into the forest below.
