Falling Ethics' sublabel Moral Standards presents their first V.A. with a stellar lineup of some of the most relevant names of this era. 

P.E.A.R.L. starts off the 4-tracker with a groovy and stripped back tool, whereas Not A Headliner contributes a rather driving track, typical for his sound. On the B-side Ryan James Ford comes with a heavy thumping track led by staccato synth stabs. To close off the V.A., DJ TOOL has the deepest and most trancy cut with stripped back drums and dreamy synths.

After his magnificent debut album 'Trust Me' from last year, Xupid once more delivers four explosive dancefloor weapons in his own remarkable style. Working on a high pace he works his way from percussive bass stepper 'Fractal Keel' via the playful hard groovers 'Hexing Hour' and 'Planet Creep' to a more subtle dub house affair 'Direct Dub'. French electronic music stalwart ''Umwelt'' has produced some modern day classics throughout his career. After a string of releases for several renowned music labels this time around, the Lyon based musician joins P.E.A.R.L.'s Falling Ethics imprint and comes up with the thirteenth installment in the series. ''Strange Attractor EP'' is a well balanced EP that showcases several sides of Umwelt's signature style that sits somewhere on the edges of Techno, Electro, Adventurous Electronics and anything in between.

The release opens with a rough machine work-out called ''Nocturnal March''. After this, with "The Collapsing Empire, the sound changes dramatically into one of Umwelt's signature adventures with cinematic electro. The title track (B1) maintains the electro'ish ambiance of ''The Collapsing Empire'' but the french artist adds some taints of paranoia to the mix resulting in a unprecedented dancefloor effort. ''Across The Abyss'' is a treat for anyone that's been into Umwelt cinamatic sounding escapades. Three minutes of sweltering synths beautifully aligning with a scorching bassline.

Born and breed in Spain, P.E.A.R.L. was first introduced to electronic music through the sounds
of the late 90s and early 2000s, which have played a foundational role in shaping his artistic
identity. Immersing himself in club culture during his teenage years, he developed a deep
connection to the raw energy of Techno music, particularly influenced by the sounds emerging
from the UK and Spain.

In 2012, he moves to Berlin, and a year later, he established his own label, Falling Ethics
Records. Initially a platform for his own work, the label has expanded to showcase a diverse
range of artists, contributing to the global Techno community. Falling Ethics is also known for
its distinctive visual aesthetic and authenticity that has helped to establish itself as a reference
point in the independent scene.

As a performer, P.E.A.R.L. brings quality to the DJ booth: His approach is less about spectacle
and more about crafting moments with love and deeply personal. There’s intentionality in how
he guides the dancefloor, balancing tension with release in a very eclectic way. It’s this
unpretentious yet deliberate artistry that has earned him a quiet respect within the global
Techno community, not as a figure chasing trends, but as someone who understands our culture.
