Falling Hollywood is a high-energy folk rock band from Erie, Pennsylvania. They began as an acoustic duet with cousins Nick Taylor (vocals/guitar) and Matt Flowers (vocals/guitar) in 2005. Over the next couple years Bill Frackowiak (bass) and Brad Triana (drums) joined the band making them a complete four-piece. The name “Falling Hollywood” was inspired to comment on the glitz and glamour pop culture of Hollywood. “Falling Hollywood” is opposite of the stereotypical Hollywood persona. It is aimed to represent the falling away from such an image-based and restricted society to the underground culture exposing the straightforward and sometimes nitty-gritty reality. 
By the summer of 2008 Falling Hollywood took off and began performing as a pop punk band. Then in early 2011 after having to play a stripped down acoustic set, they received an overwhelmingly great response therefore marking the start of their current direction. Falling Hollywood began exploring a folk rock style creating a more raw, emotional and honest sound. Thus far Falling Hollywood has released two EPs and a full length debut in the summer of 2012 titled "Set the Table." The album received high praises in local press and reviews including Local Album of the Year from the Erie Reader and The Erie Times News. In June of 2013 they will be going back into the studio to record their second full length album. Since the release of "Set the Table" Falling Hollywood has played multiple festivals and toured in PA, NY, OH, and WV.
