Claire Egan has been in studio on a few occasions in the last few months and recording of her debut album is well underway. Her sister, Sinéad, has been providing some accompaniment on guitar. A recent studio out-take that we shared on social media prompted an immediate and overwhelming response, hinting at what we anticipate will be a very well received CD in 2015.
Claire has been immersed in the great music scene of London listening to the likes of Brendan Mulkere, Brian Rooney, Sean Casey and John Carty. Claire is also a Masters graduate from the prestigious Royal Academy of Music, London and performs extensively with ensembles and groups around the world. Her music speaks for itself; it is creatively exquisite with an effortless touch that produces a style of her own.
