This slow tempo beat called ‘I’m calling begging for mercy’ is the first song that Mavel D have composed. This track heralded her first artistic and personal approach to songwriting. It was written initially in a Hillsong church songwriting session in Brisbane, Australia, where she moved for around 2-years. She was inspired by religious imagery to elevate a romantic connection with oneself, as a part of a healing process to have mercy for oneself body and soul when we wake up empty as things are out of control. It helps to always have in mind that even though sometimes you feel wracked, and you feel your are not enough you deserve Mercy for your body and soul. It’s more than ok to be alone, search for yourself to find yourself.

When the umbra takes over on your stage your option is to wake up, you do it, but it's not like that, really you continue in that same lucid nightmare, you feel in your lower astral and out of fear you try to wake up, once again you do it, but now you are prostrate and unable to move your body, now you belong to fear.

I wrote this song after visiting me sons new born little girl Eloise for the first time. While watching my wife holding her I began reflecting on my life and after we got home I wrote this.
