I often find myself not doing enough for my Palestinian brothers, sisters, and neighbors. Although I try my best to spread awareness, it seems like the world has become completely complicit to war crimes committed against Palestinians, as well as my own people in South Lebanon. Watching the last 2 horrifying years unfold has really reshaped my worldview.

I refuse to be considered a bystander when history is repeating itself in front of our eyes. 

I refuse to sit and watch this cleansing unfold.

I refuse to be silent. 

The voices of innocent Palestinians and Lebanese being killed will forever haunt me.

I could go on about this, but this beautiful poem really hits the mark.
