Ночь дана, чтоб думать и курить

Blessed be nights; their solitude evokes
Quiet talks to you through wisps of smoke.

Many stars look down, big and small,
And a lonely mouse rustles by the wall.

In my chest, I touch a tender bone
Motherland, it's yours and yours alone.

I exhale it in my pining verse.

Scarlet palms on Easter holy night
Guarded many candles' sacred light.

Wow, so ok, so I fell in love with this DJ, she had the most amazing set every night on her show, Man on the Moon, and her music changed my frigging life, and oh my gosh, I fell in love with her radio voice too 😂 This is for you Liza R.

Under My Skin

Этот трек я начал писать 10 лет назад под впечатлением поездки на индийский океан. Тогда у меня получилось сделать небольшой набросок с одной синтезаторной партией. Но потом я забросил музыку и надолго забыл про нее. Но недавно я перебирал старые вещи и нашел жесткий диск, а на нем - этот старый скетч.  Даже просто открыть его было очень сложно, потому что такой DAW уже нет.  Но, тем не менее, мне удалось его открыть, и трек появился буквально через 3 дня. 

Трек рассказывает о жизни большого кита в огромном океане, о свободе воли и свободе выбора, о стихии океана.  

По стилю трек ближе всего к IDM, но я бы назвал его Romantic IDM, потому что в основе лежат простые и красивые мелодии. В этом треке много мелодичных частей, которые разговаривают друг с другом, как киты разговаривают друг с другом.

I started writing this track 10 years ago, inspired by a trip to the Indian Ocean. I managed to make a little sketch with a synthesizer part. But then I gave up music and forgot about it for a long time. But recently I was going through some old stuff and found a hard drive and on it was this old sketch.  Just opening it was very difficult because that DAW doesn't exist anymore.  But I managed to open it and the track came out literally in 3 days. 

The track is about the life of a big whale in a huge ocean, about free will and freedom of choice, about the elements of the ocean.  

Stylistically the track is closest to IDM, but I would call it Romantic IDM, because it is based on simple and beautiful melodies. There are a lot of melodic parts in this track that talk to each other like whales talk to each other.

It’s hard for an old brownie to live in a city in a large residential complex. Old brownie is in depression in the digital world. Only a cat and a dog can entertain him at night. But the dog owner doesn't get enough sleep.

A track somewhat inspired by Mac Quayle's theme for Mr. Robot TV series. I sang a line and converted it into MIDI and that is ending theme. Then programmed others. As usual, Ableton stock instruments only.
