when i build my bass guitar and frankenstein a drum set i will cover this in the style of kate bush

this was an alternate version of collapse theme from an earlier stage of the album. before i added the scream vocal layer into the original track i didn't really like it that much, so i tried recycling the track into something entirely different

vessel inspired thing with hard to follow rhythms [2020]

this is an unfinished track that got scrapped from the album im working on right now, it was cut because it was started before i really knew what i was going for on this album. i had tried my best to work it into something that felt more aligned with the vision but in the end it just felt like i was covering this thing that never belonged here in bandages, trying to convince myself that it works. i've come to the conclusion that i have to start over with this one, take what i like from it and rebuild it from the ground up, this is going well so far. this said new version will show up on the finished album under the same title

softly framed in seafoam
steeping in twilight

the rarity of weightless overcast
receding into previous day

I am pulled between the edges of then and now
complacently losing the battle

and I place a bowl on that granite
with water seeping through its pores
half-washed
porcelain in defeat

pray I go back down and think a way out
but the waking hours escape me
for once turn the right way,
you flake, you human life

thank the paper blinds for sparing you the shame
of months and months gone by

e-verynight is a track created through a long game of musical telephone. The intention of the game is to compose a piece of music out of a series of short audio clips from a group of people. We formed a long chain of people, and created musical gestures based on the sound from the previous person in the chain, without having heard any of the other sounds. It is similar to exquisite corpse, but with sound.

Started and completed in one day for the 1 year anniversary of e-veryday, October 2022.
