this was a project in Scott Colburn's Textural Audio class at The Art Institute of Seattle. 
The objective: Record yourself saying the alphabet, edit out all of the letters so that you are left with room ambiance and mouth noises, or breathing and what not. Then alter the results.

I decided to make a song. All sounds heard came from the sounds between the letters in the ABC's, lots of effects were added, however.

i started by taking the results of the edited version and printing a stem in pro tools, 
then i used elastic audio to stretch the wave form,
i recorded the result to another stem,
i went through the results and selected artifacts that sounded like they might be a kick, a snare, a lead, and bass drops and wobbles, 
lots of processing and meticulous, pain staking beat placement, 12 hours later....we got this creation.
