The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down

'The Familiar' are a four piece alternative folk band comprising two brothers (Nick and Mark Stephenson) and two sisters (Cara and Anja Rodford) who all hail from St Albans, Hertfordshire. They grew up singing together in various groups before forming as a collective in August 2013.
Their music is an assortment of the folk songs they know and love by treasured artists such as The Band, Richard Thompson and The Beach Boys and also original material, often written in a similar vein, displaying romantic yet dark lyrical undertones by Nick and Mark Stephenson. Their unique four-part harmonies have proven to be the main-draw for audiences so far, exemplified by these new recordings. Produced by Steve Rodford.
