Link98 is a solo project of Tornike Goderdzishvili, whose music and selection is based on synthesis of electro, detroit techno and breakbeat and offers a bold adventure between the various layers of electronic music. Tornike represents the new generation of Tbilisi’s electronic music scene and stepped into the club culture in 2018 with the stage name of Tokay. Unlike Link98, his previous project was focused on house, minimal-house and deep-house.

Link98 is performing at Tbilisi’s most beloved cult spaces such as Drama Bar, Success Bar, Prinz, Dedaena, Artcafe Home etc.

Recordings of his sets are available through Soundcloud, Drama Bar radio platform and RTS FM Radio.

Grazie a @anaisldc che alla festa Nul ha portato un registratore digitale.. Finalmente, dopo un’attesa biblica, eccoVi un nuovo #mix registrato “live” di ben due ore! Non è sempre facile cominciare da zero una serata, soprattutto quando fai da intro ad un concerto/performace, ma devo dire che me la son cavata bene! Questo #sound mi è molto rappresentativo: una esperienza unica, un viaggio elettronico, acid, deep e funk.. #Vinili vecchi, della #tradizione & vinili nuovi. Niente #discomusic, però: non era il vibe giusto per la serata… Penso che ultimamente la disco sia un po’ troppo inflazionata, quasi il genere preferito degli influencer/dj di Instagram. FarVi ballare con queste sonorità, è stato bellissimo e profondo: inoltre, ho conosciuto nuovi amici @annasusam Tel Aviv, @gamolkoart Bielorussia e ricevuto un sacco di complimenti. Special thanks a @tylerovgaia di Nul, Carlo Mognaschi del Q Club e tutti Voi! #MagicMoments #daxdj

Ho fatto parte di Crispy, crew che dal 2009 ha organizzato party molto interessanti tra Padova e Venezia.

Crispy era il ritrovo per il clubber esigente, per chi non si accontentava, probabilmente l’unica situazione veneta che si avvicinava ai party underground europei più originali, estremi, non commerciali! L’atmosfera era unica, gli artisti invitati e i “local heroes” hanno dato valore aggiunto al progetto! Le grafiche accattivanti, il design mai scontato ed innovativo, la filosofia che c’era dietro mi hanno fatto entusiasmare nel corso degli anni a questa realtà.

Ricordo ancora certi dischi che sono riuscito a proporre alle serate che mi han visto protagonista: solo a Crispy potevi “osare” e potevi proporre certo sound; a Crispy si dava molta importanza a chi suonava con il vinile, inoltre si valorizzavano le etichette indipendenti locali, nazionali e straniere; Crispy mi ha dato la possibilità di farmi conoscere nella scena italiana e di confrontarmi con dj e artisti del calibro di: Danny Krivit, Dj Sotofett, Mike Huckaby solo per citarne alcuni.

Il mondo della notte è sempre in rapida evoluzione, cambiamento: dieci anni sono volati e sono sicuro che per molti Crispy ha lasciato un segno indelebile; hanno provato anche ad imitarlo, ma essendo unico, non è stato ancora possibile e mai lo sarà! Qualità, passione, dedizione, cultura.

3. Le Rayon Vert

Molly’s RDV returns this December, rounding out the year with a reissue of material from 1994 by French artist Continental and backed by a remix from Cosmin TRG.
Amrboise Boret is a French engineer, mixer and producer located in Paris who released material under various guises from the nineties through to the early 2000’s. Here we see
his Continental moniker brough back into the limelight, highlighting a selection of material from the Pushin' It Up EP on Alliance Records.
Up first is ‘Flying Dub’, as the name would suggest a dub-infused excursion through gliding chord sequences, snaking bass licks and bright string sequences while swinging analogue drums dynamically evolve throughout. ‘Way U Jack’ follows, introducing a more Chicago leaning attitude rhythmically alongside low-pitched vocal murmurs, fluttering dub chords and a bumpy bass line.
Title-track ‘Whispers’ follows on the b-side next, employing ethereal atmospherics, flute like synth melodies, organ bass tones and crunchy, shuffled percussion. Rounding out the EP Cosmin TRG reworks ‘Whispers’, offering a contemporary twist on the original with intricately programmed drums, subtly nuanced introductions of the originals atmospherics, winding low- end pulsations and an overall ornate, dynamic feel.
