Hypnophobia is the bleep fueled beginning to a six release series from Dan Piu on Terrestrial Funk. Recorded from 1993 to 2021, the 27 tracks pose a reflection on the relativity of time. Exploring our connection between then and now, all that came before, and what is still to come. Each release will be accompanied by a foldout poster featuring oil paintings of city skylines at different points in time, all painted by Dan Piu himself. We start in present day London.

Proud day for the Deep Inspiration Show. This week we have a guestmix by "George Btp aka Zarenzeit aka Dan Piu aka Allstar Motomusic" the owner of Deep ArtSounds. After his last timeless album as Zarenzeit he just released another great album as his old moniker Dan Piu called"Living in Fear". This record is since a few days available and it belongs to the best sold records on Juno last week. It is still the highest ranked (1.) Album on the Juno LP charts. Now have a listen to this beautiful journey through some deepness, house, a bit techno and some suprises in the end :-) 

Bio: As a child, George’s favourite toys were cassette tapes. His older sister’s interest in Disco music also played an important part on his ongoing love for soulful dance music. By 1987, he was influenced by the legendary “Flamingo” Disco club in Zurich, which it possibly was one of the first European clubs dedicated purely to House music. From that year, George begun to buy vinyl records and today he is well known for his in-depth background and huge knowledge of House & Disco music. Dan Piu’s record collection is extensive and it contains well over 10,000 records....

This album was compiled in 2020 during dark, dystopian times. As we searched for answers inside ourselves, Dan Piu's artificial mind bubble manifested into a thick mass of confusion. Today in humanity's journey, a science fiction foresight has become reality. The dawn of this new era has been essential for the frame of mind of this album: "Inside Universe"

The record artwork is connected to the C.C.P aka. Childhood, Calm & Punk Project - which presents a fresh multidimensional art project. The artwork shows a unique collaboration between comic abstractionists Russell Maurice (Uk/Japan) & Kenichiro Mizuno ((Japan). The show ”ALTERED STATE” will be held in  OIL by 美術手帖, Parco, Tokyo - 12.03.2021 - 28.03.2021.
