Road to FAMILY PIKNIK - Mix Series

Israeli talents Gal Shimol & Arly drop a massive 2 tracks-EP on Family Piknik Music. After a first appearance on our label's V/A at summer 2024, Gal Shimol teams up with Arly on 'Clock 59' & 'Snare in Command', two efficient tracks for the dancefloors, based on solid grooves and maximal effects. Lately supported by Solomun and many other top DJs, these two producers really need to be added on your release radar !

Propellar - Coming Out Alive EP (Family Piknik Music) out on May 23rd. Including remixes by Sinca & AVTEL. 

'Coming Out Alive' is the third act of the beautiful relationship between Berlin based live act Propellar and Family Piknik Music. This two tracks EP reflects the feeling tone of the weeks following a breakup, when memories can still hurt but the worst part seems to be overcome. Built around driving synths and a dark, yet hopeful atmosphere, the track captures the transition from a state of pain back to strength. It's about moving forward - not flawless, but steady. For 'Coming Out Alive' remixes, we go more into some dancefloor steps with Canadian rising star Sinca & French Indie Dance duo AVTEL.

Second track on the EP is 'Calling Out', a collaboration with Berlin's creative mind Melouie. Together, they have produced an electronic downtempo track, quiet melancholic and chilled out, reflecting their respective emotional landscapes. 'Calling Out' is led by doubled vocals, a playful bassline and many textured effects. You should be surprised !

Spanish producer Marat Mode, known for his rich and textured soundscapes showcased on esteemed labels like Bar 25 Music, Multinotes, ICONYC, and House Music With Love, returns with a brand-new release on Family Piknik Music. Following his recent remix of Anikey’s Crosstown Respect, he now unveils Raw House — a hypnotic, groove-driven track infused with acid elements and playful vocals, crafted to ignite dancefloors.

On remix duties, French duo Harmonik Kontrol (recently signed to Carl Cox’s Awesome Soundwave) offer a deeper, darker reinterpretation. Their version leans into raw techno territory, delivering a perfect counterpoint to the original while keeping the energy high and the crowd moving.
