Cologne’s people are noisy, cheerful, capricious. And, clearly: dancefloor-orientated. 
“A mélange of those influences makes the very heart of my sound”, says Cologne-based producer Patrik Berg.
Experimental. Innovative. Supposed to suck all those people right onto the dancefloor and make them effing move till their feet bleed. What else? Pure euphoria. 
Patrik Berg began producing at the age of 20, launching his first release in 2014 on the Berlin-based label Fanciful. Ever since then, Patrik has produced on labels such as Christians Smith imprint Tronic, Jewel Kid´s Alleanza, Alberto Ruiz Stick Recordings, Cosmic Boys Scander, Gagas Dark Face Recordings, Frankyeffes Riot Recordings and many more

The story of Fanciful started in the end of 2011 in Berlin-Pankow. Our matter of concern is to reflect the current club content, for this reason we directed our focus especially on the dark-and deeper-side of Techno- and House-Music. The releasepolicy is very old-fashioned and characterized by the focus on Vinyl but also digital.
 
Furthermore we hosted Suaheli for the Tech-House output of our artists. 
 
In 2012 we founded Fanciful Ltd. in collaboration with Frank Savio (Frankfurt a. M.) which is more related to the underground aspect. The choice of the medium falls primarily on white labeled vinyl to let the music speaks for itself. In addition to that the label is characterized by a limited number of copies.
