Miftah Bravenda proves to be an exceptional craftsman of the giddiest, happiest kind of techno on the irresistibly joyous “Blithesome Worlds”. The rhythms here are pushed to absolutely ludicrous tempos for they speed through in their own celebratory way. Elements of video game soundtracks, drum n’bass, IDM, even lounge jazz emerge out of the sound. Quite a distinct notable approach everything about it offers a sense of ease about it, making sure that the colors incorporated within the sound feel tropical. References abound over the course of the piece, from the hyperactivity of Mouse on Mars to the gleeful nature of Black Dice’s mixture of textures, it all works. Over the course of the track a narrative takes shape one that brings the listener on a fantastic journey.

Right from the beginning of the song it seems to burst at the seams. Miftah proves that electronic music can have soul, and they give it plentifully within the whole of the experience. Virtually geometric at times the melodic progression has its own sense of exploration behind it. Despite the constant shifts and endless beats, there is a beauty to be found within it. They take the essence of these genres and truly morph them into something that feels completely their own. For the finale they completely let loose as there is a bright brilliant final bloom before the song fades out into the distance.
