Boys’ Shorts reunites with HE.SHE.THEY. Records to release their mighty EP, Dance Manual.

Founded by Vangelis (ex-LAGASTA) and Tareq (electronic artist), Boys’ Shorts is a Greek DJ/Production duo based in London and admired internationally for their catchy electronic grooves and passion for creating memorable dance floor moments. 

Musically, they’re a blend from disco to breaks and slow techno to acid: it’s “music to make people dance.” The duo have been delighting dancefloors, from Berlin's Panorama Bar to London's E1 via NYC, Paris & beyond, alongside the likes of Helena Hauff, Tama Sumo & Lakuti and Boris to name but a few.

Bender is a track for “all the thoughts we had every time we danced alone in a big space, club or party.” It’s expansive, joyful and unapologetic, celebrating “those little moments of solitude on a dancefloor."

 Meanwhile, Life On A Screen is “an homage to the rave era we lived as young adults, when things had to happen underground or in private... It’s a story of an era, before social media, reflecting how things are now moving fast.’ 

Completing the EP are two versions of Dance Manual; the original Italo feel-good track and the Acid Take version, which plays with darker electronic flavours.

Factor City happily welcomes back on board Sistema in the year of their 20th anniversary. He’s been a regular presence in their catalogue since the very beginning and has delivered some of the best tunes they've ever released in these twenty years.

Manel Ruiz has lost many tracks during all these years. He’s a prolific but also a chaotic producer. But we are lucky as some of them have been found, restored, mixed again and mastered by the man himself for our listening pleasure. Some of these songs where made in 2003. Sonic miniatures full of little and unexpected details and textures. Pure bliss.

‘Stay High’ by Anchoret opens with a bulky house beat, broken signals transmitting through space and time as whimsical synths swell between its infectious percussion. ‘Stay High’ is a cosmic party starter with layers of swinging organic rhythm, which Sous Music label boss Anja Schneider then reimagines into a hard-hitting tribal house track. Her version, with added rolling bass permeating its sturdy drums, is perfect for the sunshine yet with a dusk-like sense of mystery.

Solar Phenomena Music and its sublabel SOP saw Anchoret release an EP in 2022 featuring Hugo Massien and Klartraum on the remix. Now, the 3024 and Kiss And Kry artist follows things up with a two-part EP on the label featuring versions from Anja Schneider, Hior Chronik and Jay Tripwire.

The Minotaur, being a creature of great taste, loved music himself. He would often listen to the musicians practice, his powerful ears picking up every note and every beat. He even had a favorite krew that he loved to listen to - a collective of dj’s who played ethereal, haunting music. The visitors of maze were surprised by the Minotaur's reaction. They had expected a fierce battle, but instead, the Minotaur seemed to be enjoying the music just as much as they were. And so, they struck up a conversation with him, learning about the maze collective’s true purpose.
