So this AU is gonna be "UNDERTALE fanon if it was good?"... I wonder how this AU is gonna handle all the shonen shit, like with sans or Undyne, cause that's my favorite part of it all.

This song feels so profoundly wrong and off-putting (in a good way), that it reminds me of how the intro to Halloween Hack's MEGALOVANIA is unironically kinda disturbing. Great work!

Fanontale is an AU that takes inspiration from Undertale fanon perceptions by using it to influence the roles the beloved characters take, as well as manifesting in-universe, affecting the characters and their stories.
This is not an Undertale AU about "What if Undertale fanon was good", but rather one that seeks to answer the question of "what if fanon perceptions had direct consequences for the lives these characters live?"

Frisk takes Toriel's role, but they also take Ruins Dummy's role, in that they're the person who teaches you how to fight. Or, rather, how to not fight.

After failing to persuade Kris to create a dark fountain for a new world filled with treasures, Folde devised a cunning plan. He intended to use Kris to retrieve the last treasure of the dark world, a treasure he had lost long ago, which had once saved him. He called it a treasure hunt and compelled Kris to complete a series of trials to prove their readiness for the adventure. 

Once Kris finished all three trials, Folde took the fun gang to the Deep Dock on his hand-drawn boat. Before they entered, he gave Kris a "shadow mantle" for protection, and together they ventured into the dungeon to search for the final treasure. However, Folde abandoned Kris in a dangerous situation, leaving them to fend off the attacks from the ink ocean while he rushed to claim the treasure for himself. Folde is a secret boss of the Art Class Room Darkworld
To access Folde you must talk to an NPC named Diana and accept her quest to "save" her child, she will then lead you to the empty street. ( New updated Lore ) ( Folde can no longer be encounter on a regular playthrough, you could miss him )
Folde Lightworld Object is a Crumpled piece of paper
If you try to beat up Folde instead of sparing him, it would take the same amount of turn as a Violence Route Jevil/Spamton Neo fight. He will ran away crying if you beat him, locking you out of this quest completely.
