Premiere: Gaston Sosa - AMEP (HAFT Remix) [roku]

This hypnotic trance song comes alive with a deep, driving bassline that anchors the listener while ethereal melodies drift like whispers from another realm. Crafted as a companion to my passion around exploration of the unknown, the track invites you inward—to wander the winding corridors of the inner self, where mystery, emotion, and memory intertwine. It's a meditation on curiosity, transformation, and the beauty of the questions that remain unanswered.

Blue Submarine EP is an example of Vercetti’s emerging talent and confirms why he’s been receiving such high praise. The title track is a percussion-led soulful groove that ticks over nicely. It features a looped mantra, the voice repeating ‘dedicated our lives to the sound’, a message that sticks tightly to the ethos of Syrossian’s A&R skills. Darius Syrossian himself is on remix duty, keeping the focus around the percussion elements but littering the track with his own subtle touches adding swooshing synths, spaced out effects and weighty kicks. ‘Misch’ is a real tech house roller set off by lush drum pads, while ‘Where’s Ya Flute’ has future Do Not Sleep anthem written all over it. Vercetti creates a carnival atmosphere awash with tribal drums, rising synths and a punchy bass-line groove that will get any dancefloor moving.

Tommy Vercetti’s Do Not Sleep debut is more than a solid introduction, showing a musical maturity beyond his years and high hopes for the future. Believe the hype.

Amsterdam-based producer Julien Chaptal delivers another peculiar & consistent EP on FFR ! Gilb'R Gt'R is a great techhouse-tool with a punchy bass-line and psyche-ish atmospheric background. A weapon to wake up the audience when people get tired on the floor!
Ho Bina is a deeper and dirtier vision of what groove can be! Chaptal flirts with acid in a very stylish way and invites the listener to enter his own personal sweaty naughty techno fantasma.
Wabi Sabi sets the balance between Gilb'R and Ho Bina: a psychedelic twist over a bright techy groove and a powerful funky bass-line. Smooth and dance-ish AF.
Lauhaus' remix of Wabi Sabi crosses the border of acid house with a pinch of fresh groove that brings this version its originality and hypnotic flair. Close your eyes and let it be.

The second Bamboleo release  is with Sebastian Ledher and Matteo Gatti providing two tracks each.

Ledher goes first with 'My House', an acid laced jam with warm analogue bass. It's the sort of fluid track that worms its way through the floor, with punchy drum programming and dark vocals adding energy to the groove and helping make a big impact. On a different vibe entirely is the slick minimal house of 'Brick Lane', which has tender piano chords over rubbery beats. It's one for the back rooms and the Berlin heads and oozes soul. 

Gatti then steps up with the brilliance of 'Bamboleo Mood,' a chunky bit of machine house funk. Crunchy hits offset a warped synth line and sci-fi motifs colour in the airwaves to fantastic effect. Last of all, the excellent 'Like Mento' is a perfectly programmed bit of electronic music with fluttering drums and hits, freaky hooks and urgent bass that carry you late into the after party.
