Really love Stresshead’s work – both his music and his cool videos – so I was buzzing when he put the Pull Me Into You stems out for people to remix (easily one of my favourite tracks of his so far!).

This one’s a bouncy, housey, floaty, garagey-inspired take that went through about 40 different versions before I finally landed on this one. Had so much fun working on it, and I’m really excited to share it with you all.

Later in the day we learned that the man who was killed was named Vicente Girones, and came from near Tafalla. The next day in the paper we read that he was twenty-eight years old, and had a farm, a wife, and two children. He had continued to come to the fiesta each year after he was married. The next day his wife came in from Tafalla to be with the body, and the day after there was a service in the chapel of San Fermin, and the coffin was carried to the railway-station by members of the dancing and drinking society of Tafalla. The drums marched ahead, and there was music on the fifes, and behind the men who carried the coffin walked the wife and two children.. . . Behind them marched all the members of the dancing and drinking societies of Pamplona, Estella, Tafalla, and Sanguesa who could stay over for the funeral. The coffin was loaded into the baggage-car of the train, and the widow and the two children rode, sitting, all three together, in an open third-class railwaycarriage. The train started with a jerk, and then ran smoothly, going down grade around the edge of the plateau and out into the fields of grain that blew in the wind on the plain on the way to Tafalla.

You backed out of it, did you, my boy?... You didn't have a throw, did you?... No?..." Nibet grinned sardonically."Don't talk rubbish, Emilet!... If I have stood aside, I had my reasons for doing so.... We haven't done with Jules yet!... Not by a long chalk!... Now that he's been killed, he's got to be got rid of—isn't that true?... Look at yourselves, my lambs! You are covered with red!... It will take you all of an hour to make yourselves presentable!... Now, look at me! I'm neat and clean ... and I have a plan ... a famous plan to rid us of that corpse there! Now, just you stir your stumps, Emilet!... I am going off to make preparations!... The weekly Pattern Conference brought together the nine leaders of the camp in their reinforced underground conference chamber. Domgraf-Schwach, the conference chairman, sat attentively in his deep chair, one hand on the Pattern composite, the other on the switch that could instantly catapult him from the room and into a special compartment, safe from attack. Portbane was making his routine inspection of the chamber, examining each chair and desk for scanning eyes. Daniels sat with eyes fixed on his Geiger counter. Silberman was completely encased in an elaborate steel and plastic suit, configured with wiring, from which continual whirrings came. “What in God’s name is that suit of armor?” Domgraf-Schwach asked angrily. “Take it off so we can see you”.

David thought then in the night that the hollow way he felt as he remembered him was from waking hungry. But it was not and found that out in the next three days. In the story he had tried to make the elephant come again as he and Kibo had seen him in the night when the moon had risen. Maybe I can, David thought, maybe I can. But as he locked up the day's work and went out of the room and shut door he told himself, No, you can't do it. The elephant was and if it had not been your father it would have been someone else. There is nothing you can do except try to write it the way that it was. So you must write each day better than you possibly can and use the sorrow that you have now to make you how the early sorrow came. And you must always remember the things you believed because if you know them they will be there in the writing and, you won't betray them. The writing is the only progress you make.

"Now, then, let's see, what must I do next? Seize the statue by the neck, place the left hand in the middle of the body and sway it." Suiting the action to the word, the journalist applied all his force and in a moment the statue parted in two and swung toward him. The hollow interior appeared like a black hole. Bending forward, Fandor cried:  "Sire, Sire, can you hear me?" His voice came echoing back to him, but there was no reply from the depths. "Ah, I can't be mistaken!" he cried, desperately. "Wulf heard this fountain singing the national anthem of Hesse-Weimar, the statue is hollow, therefore the King should be hidden in it." Again he stood, listening. After a pause an exclamation of surprise escaped him. "Why, it's the same noise I heard in the pipe ... it's a snore ... the unfortunate man is somewhere asleep!" To call louder would have been dangerous, and besides, quick action was necessary. "Nothing venture, nothing gain," he whispered, as, revolver in hand, he stepped inside the statue. He slid rapidly down for a distance of six or eight feet and then landed on earth. There he lay for a minute or two, reasoning that if he should be met by a fusillade, he would be safer in that position. However, complete silence reigned about him, broken only by the steady and distant snoring. Then, lighting his electric lamp, Fandor began a survey of the premises into which he had so daringly intruded.

Pervading the film world as well as the comic book medium the masked criminal genius known as Fantomas has impacted many art forms over the decades. Praised by absurdist painter set, film maker Jean Cocteau and novelist Umberto Eco. A sadistic killer and master of men, the character was thrust upon the world in 1911. The star of numerous novels, Fantomas employs similar techniques to supervillains of Marvel Comics to come many years later. A combination of Fu Manchu and James Bond, he is a master of disguise and appears to be timeless.
