Mirror Work

Since birth Alex F had been surrounded by music. His grandfather and father were both musicians and he was subsequently never far from an instrument or speaker.

After spending the majority of his life around music, making music, and recording music, he stopped. In doing so he slowly started to slip away and dormant depressive issues began to become heavier and more frequent.

Eventually, encouraged by loved ones, he picked up his guitar and reconnected all his recording equipment. Music poured out. His new album "dances..." reflects this rediscovery. The music is sonically dense and celebratory, the sound is rhythmic and joyful.
