Press Release: 
Wasting no time on the 2017 calendar, label bosses Pleasurekraft follow up the massive "Rigel" with their first EP of the year, with a little hand from Italian maestro Roberto Capuano. On the title track "Maskara", film aficionados might pick up on the use of composer Jocelyn Pook's "Masked Ball" which has now become infamous for its use in Stanley Kubrick's final film "Eyes Wide Shut". The boys' deft use of a small piece of the original work becomes the centerpiece around which everything else is constructed - with towering drums, and menacing chord stabs rounding out the track's dark landscape - just the way Kubrick might have envisioned it.

Closing out the EP, Roberto Capuano returns to the label to team up with the boys for the dark & brooding "Penetrator", a track that much like its lead melody slithers back and forth traversing the border between tech house and techno - a farewell to tech house - and a full embrace of the techno expanse that lay ahead for the imprint in 2017.

Both tracks already featured numerous times by Adam Beyer on his Drumcode podcast, Kraftek is very proud to present, the "Maskara EP".

The label Fartlek Rec. was born from Luca Gaeta and Massimiliano Ruggiero's idea, two young italian djs with the idea to make their mark in the world of the electronic music. The label want to give birth to a series of innovative productions and characterized by a style of original techno and continously evolving but that also takes inspiration from everything that has been done before. What show that are the first releases entrusted to emerging artists and definitely comparable to the underground scene as: Urban, Plural and Joton.
Evolve means first having itself a ductil nature, able to accommodate any changes, the goal is then to be able to conceive new day after day to reach a full understanding of a genre that has surprised in its main point of attraction.

Swiss duo ME & her join the Hottrax roster with a robust release featuring British duo Dense & Pika and Detroit’s DJ Bone on remix duties.

With recent appearances on Deeperfect, Natura Viva and Clarisse Records, the rising duo has quickly cemented a reputation as ones to watch since making their production debut back in 2014. Joining them on the release is Dense & Pika, who have been taking the world by storm whilst releasing on leading labels such as Adam Beyer’s Drumcode, Scuba’s Hotflush, not to mention renowned UK imprint Hypercolour. Meanwhile, DJ Bone needs little introduction having paved the way for quality techno for over two decades including running his renowned Subject Detroit imprint.

Sturdy kicks and intricate effects drive ‘Wild Rage’ forward before introducing metallic snares and animated melodies. On the other hand, ‘Thunderstruck’ is a dusky production composed of heady stabs and echoing elements that together generate a compelling groove. Dense & Pika’s shuffling remix of ‘Wild Rage’ shines a spotlight on a tantalizing synth as eerie nuances operate throughout, before DJ Bone concludes the package with a trippy and percussive reinterpretation of his own.

We are honored to welcome the legendary Ken Ishii to #Metodiq with the furious "Tilt Anomaly", which boasts discordant riffing that leads to psychotic territory via a no-nonsense arrangement. 
Label boss MAAE stomps it out in his rendition while adding menacing electronics, and the Drumcomplex & Roel Salemink remix offers a more subliminal view that focuses on the grinding rhythm section and persistent synths. Definitely brilliant EP ready to rock the dance floor!

Flug lands on Suara for the first time delivering three original tracks that proves his fierce passion and overall dedication to techno music. After years releasing in labels like CLR, Soma or Mord, this Barcelona's based artist born in Argentina, boss of the infamous Insert parties, releases a very up-to-date techno EP that incluides remixes from rising techno stars Setaoc Mass and Locked Groove. This new release on the label, walks hand in hand with the current sound of Suara.

La label Fartlec rec. nasce dall idea di Massimiliano Ruggiero e Luca Gaeta, due giovani djs italiani con l'idea di lasciare il segno nel mondo della musica elettronica. L'etichetta si prefigge di dare alla luce una serie di produzioni innovative e caratterizzate da un stile di techno originale e in continua evoluzione ma che prende ispirazione anche da tutto ciò che è stato fatto prima. Danno prova di questo le prime release affidate ad artisti emergenti e sicuramente assimilabili alla scena underground come: Urbano, Plural e Joton. 

Evolvere vuol dire innanzitutto avere di per sè una natura duttile capace di assecondare qualunque mutamento, l'obiettivo è quindi essere in grado di concepire novità giorno dopo giorno per giungere ad una completa concezione di un genere che ha nella sorpresa il suo principale punto di attrazione.
