This Kid Grew Up, But Not the Way He Was Supposed To

He used to dream of being someone good. Someone kind. Someone better than the broken home that raised him. But dreams don’t survive in places like that. Not when your mother locks herself in the bathroom with a needle, and your father looks at you like you’re the reason he’s miserable.

At school, the other kids smelled the weakness on him like blood in the water. They tripped him in hallways, laughed when he flinched, made sure he knew he was nothing. Teachers turned the other way. No one ever asked if he was okay. No one ever cared.

As he grew, the world didn’t change. Every job he worked, someone took advantage. Every friend he trusted, someone betrayed. Life never gave him a hand—it only pushed him down and dared him to get back up. Until one day, he didn’t. He stopped feeling. Stopped caring. Stopped believing in anything but survival.

Now, he looks at people and sees only obstacles. He doesn’t love. He doesn’t grieve. Pain doesn’t touch him anymore, because there’s nothing left inside to hurt.

They broke him so completely that all that remains is a shell. And somehow, that feels like freedom.

In this track, two titans of industrial sound, Optimuss (Russia) and FARZÆD (Persian), join forces to create a powerful sonic catastrophe. This is the soundtrack to a mechanical hell, where the sound of iron hammers echoes in the walls of dungeons, the grinding of metal tears apart the silence, and the screams of furies fill the air with primal horror.

Heavy rhythms, booming blows and a hypnotic atmosphere immerse you in a boundless abyss, where there is no light, only the eternal hum of giant mechanisms. This track is a guide to industrial darkness, where chaos becomes art.

It didn’t happen all at once. Fear came quietly, like a shadow stretching just beyond my vision. It whispered lullabies of doubt, fed me comfort laced with decay. I welcomed it — a familiar ache — until it wrapped around my soul like barbed wire.

Piece by piece, I was unmade. My voice was the first to go — swallowed by silence thick as blood. Then my will. Then the light behind my eyes. Now I drift in a place where time rots, where even my screams echo back in a language I don’t understand.

No one comes here.
Not even death.
Only me — and the thing I’ve become.

El sol salió el 27 de abril de 1986 como si nada hubiese ocurrido. En Pripyat, los niños salieron a jugar a los columpios de sus tan amados parques; cruel rueda de la fortuna. Desconocían por completo que el aire que respiraban estaba cargado de una muerte invisible. Sus risas ingenuas llenaban las calles de la condenada ciudad mientras una lluvia de partículas radiactivas incoloras se depositaban en sus jóvenes cabellos, ropas y alvéolos. 

Nadie del gobierno soviético tuvo la valentía de valentía de anteponer la vida a la ideología. Ningún miembro del totalitario leviatán estatal les advirtió que el monstruo ya no estaba en los cuentos, sino flotando en el aire que inspiraban, abrazándolos con calidez bajo el cielo más azul que jamás recordaron.


The sun rose on April 27, 1986, as if nothing had happened. In Pripyat, children went out to play on the swings in their beloved parks; a cruel Ferris wheel. They were completely unaware that the air they breathed was laden with an invisible death. Their naive laughter filled the streets of the doomed city as a shower of colorless radioactive particles settled on their young hair, clothes, and alveoli.

No one in the Soviet government had the courage to put life before ideology. No member of the totalitarian state leviathan warned them that the monster was no longer in the stories, but floating in the air they breathed, embracing them warmly under the bluest sky they had ever remembered.

PRIPYAT

They laughed as I bled.

Not just once—every day, every hallway, every whisper when I passed. My pain became their entertainment. The crimson from my nose that day in the locker room? Hysterical, apparently. The cracked ribs? A punchline.

I kept my silence sharp, feeding it with every bruise, every insult. No one asked if I was okay. Not even when I stopped blinking back tears. Not even when I stopped blinking at all.

But silence is a blade.

And blades are made for carving.

So when the moon hung low and the school was still, I returned—not with fists, but with purpose. They thought they’d buried me in shame. But I had dug my way out, dragging behind me a rusted grin.

One by one, I found them. I didn’t scream. I didn’t rage. I smiled.

And I carved.

Not their skin—not yet. I carved the joy from their throats. The laughter. The smug little smirks. The giggles they shared as I bled on linoleum.

By the time the sun rose, the school was silent.

Finally.

They stopped laughing.

And I stopped bleeding.

I decided to make this release to keep the baggage of old projects from following me. So I say hello to the new projects I'm already working on, but the concentration has always leaned towards the unfinished tracks.

But even still I felt every track, that's why I made the decision to make an EP.
