'The selection of tracks in this mix is meant to be a seasonal transition and as such finds its meaning in the moment in which it is listened to by imagining how many times the weather can change over the spring months.

Starting from this concept I focused on selecting all those tracks that I don't usually put on radioshows but that I play exclusively live and this was the real challenge since recently I have been increasingly finding myself in situations more dedicated to listening than dancing where the beatmatch gives up some of its importance to the selecta and the creative blend between 2 tracks.

One thing I have noticed in the electronic music environment these days is that bpm is becoming more and more an important topic to be able to immerse oneself in a dj set and I myself when i hear unusual rhythmic divisions or bold blends I feel stimulated to go into the studio and try to do the same.'

Experimental dubs, ballads, drones, spoken words, dungeon synths and trip hops; interspersed with covers of some of the most goosebump inducing tunes he's heard. 

Drew Steadham, co-founder of Partly, (a small Portland shop of book and sundries and shop mate to the inimitable Musique Plastique) closes out the set with a meandering tromp through ambient, jungle, spoken word, and experimental. It's a love letter to his children that they'll maybe appreciate twenty years from now or maybe never.
