This was a rescore of a clip from Coraline I did for the NYU Summer Film Workshop. I liked how it turned out. Feels very playful and imaginative.

Strange Enchanted Garden

A concert piece I wrote for full orchestra. This was for the Peabody Symphony Orchestra's Music for New Media Composition Reading. This is my first concert piece for full orchestra and I wanted to make it special and exciting, so I came up with the idea of writing a fanfare that brought to mind the idea of watching a spectacular and colorful firework show.

The opening theme acts as a call to attention, a preamble of sorts before the show begins. We then have a percussion break as a countdown from 10 starts. Finally the show commences. The woodwinds act as the fireworks rising and bursting, the percussion aiding in their colorful release. The strings and brass act as the audience who are excitedly and joyfully watching the fiery and exuberant display. The show goes through exhilaration, and at times apprehension, of the brilliant showcase, finally culminating in the dramatic finale. The main fanfare theme blasts off towards the sky, as the audience waits with bated breath to see the final burst.

Fanfare for Fireworks [LIVE]

This is a rescore I did for the repair ward scene in Wall-E. I wanted it to have electronics and stuff in it and to start from the perspective of a curious Wall-E and a comfortable Eve who in the scene is getting pampered. It feels somewhat like an assembly line where the scene and score chug forward. Things take a turn as Wall-E thinks Eve might be getting taken apart and tortured. He tries to save her, but causes quite a mess in the process. I titled it Close Call because from Wall-E's perspective, he saved the day, and from Eve's, Wall-E could have caused a bit of a disaster, but didn't.

8-bit Overworld

I have no idea what this is i just was messing around with different sounds and this gives me like a 'donkey kong 64' or like 'you're walking around an Arabian market' vibe so I combined it and thats what i called it. I probably should have put like some ambient walking market place sounds in the background but i forgot and it's too late now so yeah. Also yes that image was the first image i found on google don't make fun of me

I made this a while ago and it's probably one of my favorite things i've made for some reason. I made this in like an hour too and didn't put too much effort into it so again, not sure why i'm so proud of it but I am. It's meant to be looped that's why it has such a strange ending. I have no idea why i've never posted this. I meant to post it with my other "Renaissance-like" stuff but never did, so here it is now.

This is a rescore of a scene from the 2014 movie 'Winters Tale'. The main protagonist rescues the protagonist's love interest from the antagonist. The antagonist then proceeds to chase them off of a cliff but they survive the fall due to the magic of the horse they were riding on.
