That's Emily Jayne on vocal and guitar, Eric Din on guitar, Eric Knight on bass, and Pete D'Amato on drums.  “I found this song by a first generation punk band called Chelsea.  And I loved it. I got the band to record it.  But I couldn’t find the lyrics anywhere.  So I wrote my own.  James Stevenson (Chelsea, Generation X), the songwriter of the original, gave me credit for my small lyrical contribution.  I am one of the luckiest people I know.”

Your Toy 2013

"We got together to play music, dress up, and have fun,"  according to Emily Jayne and Eric Din, members of the Bay Area's preeminent ska band, The Uptones.  "We had some songs that weren't ska, and wanted to perform them live." So Emily and Eric recruited Eric Knight, the former Engine 88 bass player and Pete D'Amato,  drummer with The Agent Deadlies. The Fashion Slaves were created in 2011. Along with legendary Beserkley Records founder Matthew King Kaufman and    Grammy winning producer/engineer, Michael Rosen,  have teamed up to record a live CD titled "Check Out The Fashion Slaves,"  on Fun Fun Fun Recordings.  The recording includes originals like "Suffer For Fashion" and "Loud Mouth Girl." 
    "After playing solo for most of my career, it's truly been amazing working with such great musicians. I just love playing with a band." says Emily Jayne.
