[ 創作ノート ]

観照する人の心は静かに見える。
しかしその奥には、容易には冷めない熱がある。
私はその熱が誰かを傷つけないように、静かに一歩引く。

歌は言葉よりも遠くまで届くけれど、
ときに刃のように鋭く触れることもあるから。

神話のセイレーンの歌のように。
美しい過程だと自分を慰めながら、
この一曲を歌うことで誰かの傷を呼び覚ますのではないかと迷うこともある。

曲『セイレーン』は、そんな思いから生まれた。
観照しているふりをしながらも、
結局は利己的な形で自分の熱をさらけ出した曲だ。

静かでありながらも熱を帯びていますように。
