An active member from the collectives O GRAVE (Viseu) and Capsula (Lisbon), the artist definitely assumes an important key on the national underground Portuguese circuit from what we can expect for the future.

Olivia and Chino from Krakow, who make up the powerful duo Radiation 30376, performed on the main room sound system at ://about blank and the crowd was enthralled from the first to the last moment. With their extensive hardware setup, they created some serious magic for the ears and stomachs of everyone in attendance. Luckily we were given permission to share the recording so that a wider audience can now enjoy this hour of high quality electro.

Daniel Avery - Electronic Explorations #373

The Russia based Inga Mauer will proudly line up at our Dekmantel Festival this summer. And it is easy to see why: she has a high impact, strobe lit dark techno sound that is impossible to escape. This is true of her DJ-sets as well as her productions, which have been released on labels like Hivern Discs and shtum. Imbued with elements of EBM, hellish synth craft and psychedelic tendencies, she brings a fresh and widescreen persecutive to electronic music that really stands her out. 

Her mix is here just as alarming for all the right reasons: it quickly shifts from foreboding noise tracks to eerie drones, from cold wave styles to thudding house via nasty old school techno. Powerful and visceral throughout, it’s a muscular mix that takes many risks and veers off into a weird and wonderful world of sound that is never less than brilliantly unpredictable.

For this edition of the Fast Forward series, we present to you Blue Hour @bluehour909 with a mix focusing on early-rave! - Enjoy!

From starting out promoting club nights in the UK, Luke Standing has been devoted to underground electronic music.
His first records under the names Furesshu and Esoteric experimented with swung and atmospheric techno before he resettled in Germany and launched his resolutely independent project Blue Hour in late 2013. Since then, Standing has released pivotal records with a distinctive sound driven by the spirit and energy of the '90s, and in turn, been welcomed into some of the most respected venues across the globe. Fuelled by his obsession with the early days of dance music, when genres like trance, jungle, and IDM overlapped, his DJ sets explore a narrative of timeless music, blurring the lines between geography and scene, space and time. Beyond the platform originally started for his own productions, Blue Hour has since begun extending his reach towards other artists and releasing music from Dold
and Alpha Tracks as well as his collaborative project as Tracing Xircles. An acclaimed Remixed series has also seen artists like Steffi, Pangaea and Answer Code Request re-working his music. There is no doubt that Blue Hour has become part of the techno world, but Standing stands clearly apart within it.

Unconventional and single-minded to say the least (what label can boast a back catalogue free of the industry-standard cash cow remix) by decentralising the focus on the dj/producer personality, he remains one of the more highly regarded creative forces within the British techno/electronic scene. In this rare podcast, the UK producer presents a tribute mix featuring tracks and producers from the seminal Birmingham label, Network.

Fast Forward Productions was formed in December 2015 as a new take on DIY rave culture. All events are built from the ground up, focusing on our local scene and on collaborating with like-minded crews and concepts from abroad.
With a focus on social engagement, and by using activists from the local community to help make the events come to life, Fast Forward actively focus on creating safer spaces at the venues we use. Sexism, racism, homophobia and transphobia are not tolerated.

After the first year of activities, numerous collabs and the establishment of close relationships with like-minded crews all over Europe, we decided to establish ourselves as an agency working with some of the scene´s core members - both DJs and live acts. In doing this we work both as a traditional agency and as a promotional platform for each artist’s creative output.
