Having gained a huge amount of respect from his label and appearances at some of the most established venues around, he has been kind enough to bless us with this mix full of old school techno. Perfect remedy for a rain Thursday afternoon.

For the 15th chapter of VSA Radio, upcoming local producer and DJ Tino invites you for a daring journey with a one hour mix of mesmerising face melter techno. Tino is heavily inspired by the Birmingham sound, and this inspiration is ever-present in his ruthlessly grinding productions and mixes.

"Ever since I was a kid, I've had a love for intense music genres. I got into the Copenhagen rave scene four years ago, and was enchanted from the very first time I stepped into a party at Et Andet Sted. Soon after, I started to produce techno music and DJ myself, and I have been working on developing my sound ever since. Since I am very self critical about my art, I've struggled a lot with being satisfied with my work. 

However, lately I finally feel like everything I've learned on my musical journey is starting to come together, and I am actually feeling proud and confident to present my productions. Some of them are included in the mix. I hope you will enjoy it!"

Next up on Sangoma Records series continues with radiOzora’s recurring collaborator FUNGUS FUNK.

Fungus Funk is Sergei Prilepa, an established psychedelic trance musician from Moscow, Russia. Sergei started producing psytrance in 1998, and he has been releasing music since 2001. Over the past 15 years, Fungus Funk has put out his compilation tracks on numerous other labels. To his credit are four well-received full length albums: ‘F-People’ (2006) on Acidance, ‘Vostok 1’ (2008) together with Samadhi on Blitz Studios, ‘Electric Grooves’ (2010) also on Blitz Studios, and ‘Kremlin Gremlin’ (2012) on his own label Unlimited Music. Additionally, Sergei also released four acclaimed EPs. Fungus Funk’s sound is not easy to define as it incorporates features from different sub-genres of psytrance and generally tends to change from album to album. Regardless of which version of Fungus Funk you get to experience, it is guaranteed to be full of fat well defined basslines, powerful psychedelic leads, and top-notch sequencing. Courtesy of his productive musical output and subsequent popularity in the international psytrance scene, Fungus Funk regularly travels the globe and plays his live and DJ sets at various dance music events. Among some of the bigger festivals he has appeared at are the well-known Boom Festival (Portugal), O.Z.O.R.A. Festival, Sonica (Italy), Antaris (Germany), Transcendence (Brazil), and Hadra (France) among others.

Next up in the series is a real Copenhagen legend. The tallest of them all, keeper of an oldschool punishing record collection with gem after gem, and one of the fastest players there is when it comes to DJ sets: DJ Ibon. BunkerBauer resident, signed to Ectotherm Recording, and Fast Forward family! This mix represent his style indeed, fast, pounding, full of grooves and pleasant suprises. The music and tempo is what I consider ambient/chill out but on the cusp of dance music, you can lay there and just go with the flow and energy, or get up and follow the rhythms and let your body be your guide.
It is up to you, just breath in and breath out and let go....

Lydo is a DJ based in New York City known for her party, X-TRA.SERVICES. Her distinctive, fast-paced, techno and trance-focused sound are deeply personal. For this mix, Lydo serves her characteristically energetic, and hard-hitting beats as the foundation to an intergalactic battle rife with obstacles that are eventually overcome, before another one hits, and then another. This mix is about making resolutions and learning something new about yourself at every turn. 

Lydo has played at Säule, Boiler Room, Fourth World, as well as parties in Mexico City, Copenhagen, and New York.
