Next up in the Fast Forward Audio Series we present: Vincent Neumann

Avid music collector, label owner & DJ, Vincent Neumann has gathered a loyal underground following by word of mouth, with consistently brilliant closing sets and long patient vinyl orientated mixing. Born, raised and currently residing in Leipzig, Vincent Neumann works as a psychotherapist during the day and as a DJ by night. As one of the residents of Leipzig’s Distillery since 2012, he happily gets to share his passion for dance music regularly. Next to this he also runs the Leipzig based label Unitas Multiplex. The vibes during his DJ-sets are often described as energetic, fast, enthusiastic and sometimes even relentless, without ever sacrificing taste or quality. For him, authenticity will always stand above fame, and if you witness one of his 10-hour closing sets you will understand what the fuss is about.

About the mix:
This mix focusses on what Vincent enjoys very much at the moment. Older stuff like Stanny Franssen paired with unreleased joints. This created a dance mix you can also listen to at home or just enjoy while cycling around.

Madrid’s @rolldann has a mind of his own. Since taking up production in the late noughties, the vivid style of his work has become increasingly unique. With his signature dark polyrhythmic sequences, he caught the eye of Slam who quickly signed him to their SOMA imprint.

In September, Roll Dann appeared on our label’s inaugural release alongside Gareth Wild, supplying a stripped back, darkside remix of Gareth’s ‘Live Wire’.

Responsible for an array of choice slabs on the likes of Clone Basement and Dub Series, MDR, Answer Code Request Rec., TRIP and his own imprint SHUT, Canadian-born / Berlin-based DJ and producer Ryan James Ford has been trading extra-solid 4x4 wares for the past half decade with a consistency one can only marvel at. Cross-pollinating strains of dub, industrial, atmospheric techno and more abstract rhythmic forms, RJF keeps on expanding techno’s faux-dogmatic firepower towards broader, open-source horizons, all the while breathing fresh air across a scene too often inclined to rest upon its stagnant bed of hard-earned laurels.
