Dear listeners,

This weekend we celebrate the coming of spring (finally) and to accompany you during whatever mischief the Easter weekend holds, here’s a little treat by a standout artist: Roma Zuckerman.

Roma is one of the trippiest artists on трип, setting himself apart with wonderfully weird productions and unique live sets like this one. 
A powerful performance that starts off with slow burning mental beats, developing through glitchy percussion and scuffed frequencies, this one goes deep so beware.

We got to know Roma personally last year and we have been in touch with him ever since, showing once more that music can be a force of unity stronger than our societal barriers. Hopefully we can spread some love doing what we love and keep coming together when it's most needed.

Each of fleika’s sets is a humble lecture in subtle mind control. Characterised by a pristine atmosphere, trance-inducing percussion work and a controlled perplexity of unidentified synth sounds, his sets are always a pleasure to get lost in. The persistence in digging through vast worlds of techno he has retained since his beginnings as a member of the Polygon crew have made him one of the most respected selectors in the area. The precision of his fingers when leaning over the mixer indicate a high complexity of thought behind his performance.

Living in Amsterdam while buying records in Rotterdam at Clone Records, Afra is one who combines the best of both worlds, a lot of worlds for that matter. Dj resident of Amsterdam queer techno night Spielraum and Operator radio, avid vinyl collector, Illuminator's event organizer and, cat lover, Afra is a name to keep an eye on.

This month saw the light her own music label Mindri, a project shared with Pinkman head honcho Marsman. Check out on Soundcloud its first release if you didn't yet, an EP from Pluto Junkies drenched in a 90’s retro-futurist electro spirit, Flying Spaghetti Monstership is what one would call a secret weapon at a rave.

Afra’s sound has a dark but danceable punch to it, mixing up the old Detroit electro and techno records, with some booty, hypnotic, trance, rave and new stuff in there too. Fusing different musical worlds into one solid and energetic entity and in this podcast of two hours for our Unmasked Discussion series, the music confirms it.

Fast Forward Productions was formed in December 2015 as a new take on DIY rave culture. All events are built from the ground up, focusing on our local scene and on collaborating with like-minded crews and concepts from abroad.
With a focus on social engagement, and by using activists from the local community to help make the events come to life, Fast Forward actively focus on creating safer spaces at the venues we use. Sexism, racism, homophobia and transphobia are not tolerated.

After the first year of activities, numerous collabs and the establishment of close relationships with like-minded crews all over Europe, we decided to establish ourselves as an agency working with some of the scene´s core members - both DJs and live acts. In doing this we work both as a traditional agency and as a promotional platform for each artist’s creative output.
