@madalba was born in July 1985 in Bari, south of Italy. From a very young age, her musical interests moved across a broad spectrum, going from house and dance music to rock and punk leading her lastly to techno and club-culture.

At age 22 she approached the local scene as Djane with numerous performances in the club circuit of Bari. Through the years she has developed a continued and careful respect of the musical experience. She moved to Berlin in 2011 started djing with only vinyl records.

This helped her to build a strong reputation as an underground techno DJ, providing opportunity for her to play in clubs such as Tresor, About Blank, SchwuZ, SO36 and Mikz in Berlin where she lives today.

In September 2011, she spent one month in Detroit where she started the collaboration with DJ Seoul, Tom and Angie Linder of Detroit Techno Militia. This travel has definitely and radically changed her approach to the techno concept, which she considers more a political and social phenomenon and a lifestyle than just a musical genre.

Back to Berlin she immediately came into contact with the queer scene, then in full bloom, building a network primarily of interpersonal relationships based on mutual support and collaboration, a network that naturally strengthens over the years, leading her to basically all queer realities of the city and beyond. At the same time she cultivated her main profession as a trauma surgeon in a historically male-dominated environment which strengthens her awareness of her role as a woman in a still strongly male-dominated society.

Thanks to these solid experiences she became resident of the party Homopatik, at the time the flagship of the Berlin queer reality.

Her first releases on vinyl came out in 2014 on DTM-Label (Detroit) and Arkita Records (Berlin), the label that she spawned together with Synkopheit till 2016.

In 2017 she launched her own record label Future D\'e9j\'e0 Vu releasing 5 EP respectively by Transient X4, Ken Karter, Mannella a.k.a. DHARAXT, Phontonz & Shcuro, Rage Therapy.

In September 2017 she played her first house set for the summer closing of the Berlin party Buttons.

In Summer 2018 Madalba became resident dj at the historical club Tresor in Berlin. The same year she collaborated with the London based crew Aria with a party series in the UK capital.

Currently she is techno resident dj and co-organizer of the party Buttons in About teaming with Danilo Rosato, Anna Bolena, Jabob Meehan, Shingo Suwa, Akirahawks and Paolo Di Nola.

Over the years, his awareness of the communicative power of his role as a DJ not an end in itself but always aimed at creating a network based on the basic values of absolute respect for all forms of diversity, has been strengthened to the point carrier of all her artistic and interpersonal expressions.

Next up in the Fast Forward Audio Series, we present: Introversion

The 25-year-old Berliner by choice which defines himself as a producer, sound designer, and DJ is part of the new generation of young talents gaining a foothold in the electronic music industry by shaping it with his own pioneering style.

In terms of producing, drums play a significant role in Introversion’s compositions (it was the first instrument he laid his hands on in adolescent years). Many are breakbeat focused – not just the odd track here and there, it is definitely something that permanently defines his style. Other common denominators in his work are the continuous exploration of infusing furious dark 90’s inspired techno with melancholic trance elements. Drums in full attack or wild synth stabs often get calmed by an emerging wave of classic trance chords finding their way into the arrangement. The way Introversion carefully picks out and introduces these old school-components, not being scared of their effect upon incorporating them, is what makes his tracks sound fresh and invigorating.

As a DJ, Introversion creates a diverse combination of tracks originated from hard, forceful techno. His sets mainly consist of new or unreleased material, drawing inspiration from 90’s and 00’s techno, rave and trance, alongside bridging a way to well-selected classics. To find the right balance for the journey, the emphasis lies as much on seeking out the track with the perfect severe kick drum, as well as the one containing the right atmospheric moment: “I love to play melodies and harmonic stuff, not just drum jams. But always quite hard”.

Radical softness is an artistic and aesthetic methodology in which vulnerability and presence become the starting point for encountering the Other.
They are similarly activist and try to share it with their music. Their storytelling sets combine uplifting tracks, fast paced, and raw punchy old school rhythms while often surprising the crowd.

Vixen is a Bulgarian-born Copenhagen-based DJ and producer and one of the fastest rising talents to sprout from the Danish capital’s vibrant underground techno scene. Since 2017 she has been gaining momentum both locally and internationally as a member of the renowned DIY collective Fast Forward. Her DJ style can be described as the high energy contact point between playful trance-inspired melodies, tongue-in-cheek vocals and floor-destroying drum grooves. In parallel she is also continuously developing her sound as a producer with already several strong releases behind her.

Fast Forward Productions was formed in December 2015 as a new take on DIY rave culture. All events are built from the ground up, focusing on our local scene and on collaborating with like-minded crews and concepts from abroad.
With a focus on social engagement, and by using activists from the local community to help make the events come to life, Fast Forward actively focus on creating safer spaces at the venues we use. Sexism, racism, homophobia and transphobia are not tolerated.

After the first year of activities, numerous collabs and the establishment of close relationships with like-minded crews all over Europe, we decided to establish ourselves as an agency working with some of the scene´s core members - both DJs and live acts. In doing this we work both as a traditional agency and as a promotional platform for each artist’s creative output.
