This autumn, Monochrome is offering each month to one or several artists to discover their influences and inspirations through a forty-five minute to two hour recording. These three recordings will focus on percussive rhythms between Ambient, Deep Techno and Drum & Bass.

Artist biography :
Farazdeck is a project focusing on the exploration of deep, hypnotic and organic music. This artistic project gets inspiration in our surroundings, its understanding and exploration such as nature, rituals, or psychology, spirituality, science and space.

"Vivien Flavia Maria Sorrentino is an interdisciplinary artist and designer from Berlin, currently studying in Weimar. In her design and artistic practice, she focuses on the translation and materialization of progressive (typo-)graphic forms, pursuing conceptual, experimental, and material-based approaches. Her most recent work involves the critical analysis of the romanticization and institutionalization of cultural (transitional) rites, and the empowering appropriation and reinterpretation of these. She examines Western wedding traditions, such as the white wedding, and the role of the bride within them. As a historical parament anchored in Christian ceremonies, the medium of wax expresses transformation, transition, and change."

"grainn is a composer, sound designer and audio-visual artist from Stuttgart, Germany. Combining influences ranging from the beginnings of computer music to his love for sound system culture and generative art, the young musician creates a dynamic DJ set full of texture and movement."

Underground Lullaby is an immersive Post-Rock narrative from Point of Basalt, inviting listeners on an intimate journey deep within the city's heart – a testament to the powerful force of inner travels.

The track opens by drawing you into an authentic and dense subway soundscape, which gradually evolves into a comforting, containing envelope. This sanctuary allows the external world to fade, enabling the internal landscape to unfold.

This is the story of finding peace and the pure joy of being alive, cradled within the rhythmic embrace of the metro. An immobile journey where the mind travels farthest, emerging lighter, clearer, ready to face the surface for new challenges.

After years spent plying his trade as Abdulla Rashim, Swedish techno producer Anthony Linell has returned to his birth name as of late. Having already released a pair of albums in 2017, the Northern Electronics co-founder has now lined up the 'Layers of Reality' EP, which is due to arrive on November 27. Ahead of that, we debuted the alternately bleepy and floaty sounds of "The Levels of Existential Space" on Red Bull Radio's First Floor, our weekly look at what's new in electronic music.

Wata Igarashi and Voiski join forces to present their new collaborative project, WAV. Ignoring the physical distance between Tokyo and Paris, a personal and musical closeness encouraged them to start exploring what they could create together. Voiski the Parisian centipede who brings synth heavy perfection to techno and Wata Igarashi known for his stylishly reduced, immersive melodies and futuristic grooves, collaborate for the first time on Delsin Records.

The result is a late night affair with atmospheric pads that get you in a trance. Peak-time electronics and floating grooves traveling through the cosmos on knife sharp rhythms. Across four tracks you can hear clear elements of both Igarashi’s and Voiski’s solo productions, without sounding like anything either has done before.
