Very happy to share the recording of my live set at Stone Techno Festival last summer.  Summer was full of highlights and this show was definitely one of them, with such a great energy and crowd at the stage hosted by Fuse. 

Technology will never be able to recreate a vibe on a dancefloor (I hope), but those who were there that day know it was something very special. 
Really enjoyed this one a lot.

When “before” feels like it is about to deliver a profound statement. It never does, of course, but the anticipation is half the fun. Midway through though the realisation hits that you already left the before and are now undeniably heading towards the after. Each moment making you second-guess what you just thought. Might this actually be the middle? Or just another before?

Die Jungs von Super Flu erweisen uns heute die Ehre und packen ihre sieben Beats zusammen, um die Menschen in der fiktiven Zukunft von Simon Rucker von unterwegs-reiseblog.de ein Stück zu begleiten. Sie sehen wie bedrohliche Wolken am Horizont aufziehen und die Menschen elektrisieren. Eine Spannung erfüllt die Luft und Ungewissheit macht sich breit. Diese Anspannung stellt die Menschen vor eine Zerreißprobe und doch tragen sie noch Hoffnung in ihren Herzen. Diese Ambivalenz der Gefühlswelt greifen Super Flu auf und zeigen bei der Umsetzung der Geschichte in die musikalische Sprache ihre ganze Klasse. Sie schöpfen das Repertoire ihrer langjährigen Erfahrung als Produzenten und Djs voll aus und beweisen uns eindrucksvoll was Musik alles bewirken kann.

Wir spielen auf den Feldern hinter dem Dorf. Unser Haus steht in der letzten Reihe von Häusern. Die Straße endet dort irgendwo und führt als rumpliger Feldweg weiter in Richtung des Waldrands. Ich erkenne keine Einzelheiten von hier aus, aber wenn ich will, schaffe ich es, den Weg nach Hause in unter zwei Minuten zu rennen. Nahe des Waldrands steht unsere kleine Hütte. Wir haben sie aus alten Dachlatten meines Vaters gebaut. Kasim steht neben mir. Am Himmel wird es langsam dunkel. 
Als ich die Tür hinter mir schließe, wird mir auf der Stelle klar, dass heute Abend kein normaler Abend ist. Kein Geruch nach Essen. Keine Stimmen der Eltern aus der Küche. Der Flur dunkel. Gedämpft höre ich die Geräusche des Screens aus dem Wohnzimmer. Als ich eintrete, springt meine Mutter auf. Samuel, sagt sie… nimmt mich in den Arm.
