木偶を投げ捨てて逃げ去る
街灯の丸い光の下でわたしは
捨て去られ首のもげた木偶を
くらい運河の水に蹴落とした

I don't need a substitute.
I don't want a substitute.
I can live even if I'm damaged.
People who cherish their puppets love to blame others, but when it comes time for them to be held accountable, they throw the puppet away and run away.
Under the light of a street lamp, a puppet with its head torn off has been abandoned. I kicked the puppet into the dark waters of the canal.

ENGLISH TEXT

We walk among the ruins with trembling grace, entranced by our own reflection,
seeking solace in the very engines of our undoing,

The earth sighs beneath an ashen veil
its wounded forests exhaling a perfume of loss.

Oceans turn in their restless sleep, heavy with unseen wounds,
and the sky, once indifferent, now trembles with a feverish light.

Even the sun seems to shine with a sickened gold,
as if ashamed to illuminate our excess and complete disregard.

Meanwhile, the church steeple stretches towards heaven as if a plea
but the heavens answer only with cold indifference.

In ancient Roman times an augur or diviner, sought omens from things like the flights of birds to ascertain auspicious days when new work would go well.The pieces listed here represent the results of personal 'fastus' days, my best days.&#13;
