Following a summer of breakthrough live performances, the Danish-Honduran singer Julie Pavon releases her debut EP,

From lighting up Roskilde Festival to soundtracking the Hermès runway at Paris Fashion Week and selling out her first headliner shows, Julie Pavon is beginning to cause stirs on the dance music scene.

She’s been dubbed by Danish critics as the country’s fiercest live performer. Her music has figured on BBC Radio 6 as well as receiving pick of the week from the largest Danish pop channel, P3.

With only four songs out—‘Jealous’, ‘Herd Animals’, ‘Don’t Call Me Out’ and ‘High’— she has managed to charm both critics and audiences with her combination of raw, leftfield beats and fiery, resounding vocals. The music is accompanied by vivid, confrontational visuals. A meeting of style, energy and emotion that certifies her as a voice of her generation.

Now Julie is ready to announce her debut EP. The release, titled Watch Her Dance, will feature three new tracks (‘Watch Her Dance’, ‘Bouquet of Flowers’ and ‘Hey Sister’) and three that are already out as singles (‘Don’t Call Me Out’, ‘Herd Animals’ and ‘High’). The music on the EP is produced by Julie Pavon in collaboration with Uffe Christensen (Uffe).

Paris-based, Chicago-born MC RacecaR has been living a pure hip hop life for the last two decades. He's one of the coolest hip hop cats in the French capital, relentlessly touring but in a constant state of rap, writing & rehearsing whenever he can. His flow, lyrics and friendly Native Tongues attitude got him to collaborate with more and more people, among which Paris DJs collaborators Lawkyz, on his 'The Waxidermist' project, or Etienne de la Sayette, RacecaR opens his afrojazz album 'Maputo Queens' to be released in may.

A true meeting of two worlds first happened when RacecaR met with the label's in-house producer Grant Phabao, who's radical expertise in groove got him to work with many famous musicians worldwide, from Jamaica to Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana, USA, Brazil, UK, Germany and more. From there on, an ongoing special production project started, with RacecaR bringing the rhymes and Grant Phabao recording them over one of his reggae, ska, funk, jazz or afro productions… No boom bap, no maverick beats, no wonky, no wobble, all breaks, skanks, drops and more polyrhythmics. The word was : "let's turn out worlds upside down, and make something different together".

'One Free', the latest single extracted from RacecaR's upcoming 'A Healthy Obsession With Pétanque' album, sees the American MC laying a thick rap, moving on and around the beat, over a deep & dubby, slow & stripped-down early 80s dancehall style riddim from French producer and multi-instrumentalist Grant Phabao. The vibe is laidback, smokey, while tropical and hip. A pure stoner tune in the "play it again, Sam" category.

Formed in 1999 in Wellington, New Zealand our sound draws inspiration from almost every part of the black music lexicon. Soul drenched vocals and jazz harmonies collide with tape delays and echo chambers, underpinned by a rhythm section as comfortable laying down a throbbing, techy soundscape as they are a swampy blues stomp.
