Endowed with a countertenor voice, he performs on stage in medieval-style costume while sporting a few punk symbols such as piercing and tattoos. He appeared in season 2 of The Voice.

In 1996, he discovered that he had a countertenor register in a "fortuitous" way. In an interview conducted by Internet users for the magazine 20 Minutes, he explains that he discovered his voice when one of his friends lent him a mandolin to tune it. Thus, his voice would be "out on its own". Also in 1996, he founded the group Angenon, with Toïvo Rolser, whose Irish-medieval compositions were successful in Strasbourg pubs. At the same time, he began to perform as a street musician, in cathedral squares and at medieval festivals.

Formed in 1999 in Wellington, New Zealand our sound draws inspiration from almost every part of the black music lexicon. Soul drenched vocals and jazz harmonies collide with tape delays and echo chambers, underpinned by a rhythm section as comfortable laying down a throbbing, techy soundscape as they are a swampy blues stomp.
