DJ Fatmo began his journey in France, working in recording studios with renowned artists such as Pascal Obispo and La Rumeur. Relocating in UK in 2013 DJ Fatmo was between London and Paris producing music for French Hip-Hop artists & working on making connections within the Caribbean London Music scene. Curious of the Uk bass culture & love of London’s Jamaican scene, he moved to Brixton. He start to produce his own music drawing heavily from the influence of Dancehall/Afro beat and Bass music. DJ Fatmo released his first Single Rock My World in July 2020. An Afrobeat/Dancehall track that is a lyrical love letter in appreciation of female beauty, enveloped with energetic summer vibe. His second release in August 2020 Carnival Fever is sharing a strong summery tropical energys. The song is a mash-up of dancehall & Electro-Caribbean melodies evoking transcending Carnival Fever energy. His third release Colombian Dream in 2021, DJ Fatmo shown his South American's musical influences with an intro which quickly slams you in the UK Funky swing with percussions and a havy bass. This July, DJ Fatmo is back and he is thrilled to share his latest Track. It marks his debut as a vocalist, as he usually collaborate with singers. However, this time, he felt the vibe and confidence to take the lead. The song is an exciting fusion of Amapiano, Dancehall, Afrobeat. He aimed to create an uptempo Amapiano track that adds an energetic twist to the genre, making it even more danceable.
